Fatigue strength of the flexspline with inner and outer gear ring of micro harmonic drive are checked.Through the check calculation and finite element analysis, fatigue strength of inner and outer gear ring can meet the strength requirements.

Abstract: The gear teeth have influence on the stresses in flexspline, through the influence coefficients of gear tooth of flexspline. For the purpose of theoretically clarifying this influence, the profile of the gear tooth of the flexspline is simplified as two simple shapes of rectangle and trapezoid. The gear tooth influence on the stresses in the flexspline has been studied and analyzed on this two cases, and the two simplified tooth profiles of rectangle and trapezoid have been compared with each other.

Abstract: The setting process of the needling filter felt by heat can control its flatness and cohesion and can ensure its filtering precision. Based on this, the new type of needling process and the new type of heat treatment technology were developed, the setting arc structure and heat preservation measures were designed, the main roller working system for setting and driving motor system were designed, and they have been put into production. The comparative experiment results show that this device overcomes such defects as surface roughness, easy deformation, breathable unevenness, low intensity and short cycle in the traditional filter felt, which can complete the two processes of extrusion and heat setting for once, and the filtration precision, setting efficiency and the rate of qualified products have improved obviously.

Abstract: The ensemble static stiffness of machine tool is its ability to maintain smooth working condition and resist a variety of loads. As the dispensable part of ensemble static stiffness, critical components stiffness plays a significant role in the performance of the ultra-precision grinding machine tool. In this paper, a three-axis CNC grinding machine tool for the ultra-precision mirror surface grinding of advanced materials such as ceramics and other hard and brittle materials has been designed. And the stiffness and modal parameters of the grinding machine tool are discussed using finite element software. The results are presented and discussed thoroughly. This in turn can help to revise design defects and reduce research and develop costs.

Abstract: Manufacture of ultra-precision micro-structured freeform surface relies on the high precision of machine tools. Precision, stability and repeatability of the Z-axis are the key factors of the high precision machine tools. The key component of the Z-axis is the ram, and its stiffness and stability have a crucial influence on the final precision. This paper demonstrated the structure optimization of the ram using finite element method based on ANSYS and the results were achieved to illustrate how the optimization variables affect the stiffness and deformation of the ram. Finally, the local three optimal design points were displayed and one of the most appropriate candidate points was chosen as the new design.

Abstract: In order to make the coal mining machine adapt the narrow work space underground, and the height of shearer is decided by the planetary gear transmission mechanism of traction unit. In this paper, the volume of planetary gear transmission mechanism is selected as objective function, and module of gear, teeth of sun gear, width of gear are considered as design variables based on mechanical transmission theory, and the optimized mathematical model of the planetary gear transmission mechanism of traction unit is established. The optimized mathematical model is solved by SQP(sequential quadratic programming) basd on Matlab program, the volume of planetary gear transmission mechanism reduces 20.22%, and the height of shearer decreases 11.3%.

Abstract: Actuator based on Lorentz force exhibits excellent isolating performance with its non-contact characteristic, especially during frequency bandwidth below 5Hz. In this paper, mathematical model of the magnetic levitation actuator is constructed. In order to obtain better performance, parametric design of the structure of magnetic actuator is carried out and a multi-objective optimization method is proposed to maximize Lorentz force and minimize the mass of coil on the basis of genetic algorithm in the optimization process. A designing optimization program is developed, by which optimized parameters of magnetic actuator with maximal actuator force and minimal mass of coil can be identified to conduct experiment on ground. Compared with initial values in an instance, the optimized method is proven to be feasible and has the value of practical application.

Abstract: To quantitatively analyze the structural topology and control the elastic deformation of die structure in stamping, a new die structure design method was proposed. The forming analysis was conducted based on the die surface mesh generated in the third-party software. Structural analysis models were established according to the die surface mesh and deformation resistance obtained from forming analysis results. And then, the structure analysis and optimization were carried out. This new method for structure design of stamping die has two advantages. First one is the combination of forming analysis and structure analysis makes the structural optimization procedure more practical. Secondly, the coupling of topology optimization and shape optimization makes it possible to fundamentally change the structural topology and it is a new attempt to mold design.

Abstract: To enhance the efficiency and accuracy of case retrieval for the digital design of machinery system, the article examines a similarity calculation method based on the extension distance and puts forward a method based on the deviation information related with the similarity among properties to distribute the dynamic attributes weights which also considers the customers preference. The method based on the extension distance is applied to the similarity calculation on attributes of precision spade punch planter, and it is demonstrated that the method can process the precise and imprecise information effectively in case retrieval.
