Abstract: A vehicle-rail dynamic model is established and the calculated results are verified with trace method. And under the conditions of a same curve section, simulations are made on the contact position of groove rail and standard rail. Variation of contact points and contact area are analyzed. Furthermore, comparisons are made on the two rails with different lateral displacements.

Abstract: In recent years, with the rapid increase of tunnel percentage in Midwestern highway construction, the tunnel operation cost rise quickly. In the cost, energy consumption of tunnel ventilation and illumination occupies a great proportion. In order to realize energy-saving and emission-reduction, there have been some new ventilation technology, for instance, the improved ventilation device, the improved ventilation method, and some new ventilation control technology. However after some new technology was applied, the phenomenon of energy-saving but not money-saving appeared. For the scientific and objective evaluation of highway tunnel ventilation technology energy-saving effect, construct evaluation index system from the three dimensions of technology usability, economy, and application effect, and then evaluate the energy-saving effect based on matter-element model. The result of assessment will give decision support for the later selection of highway tunnel ventilation technology proposal.

Abstract: Three FRP fishing vessel hulls with different knuckles, the two knuckles ship, the round bilge ship and the single knuckle ship (hereinafter using abbreviation the TKS, the RBS, and the SKS, respectively), are studied to reduce resistance and enhance strength. Here the TKS is a variation design from the RBS. And the knuckles on the hull were designed paralleled with the streamlines of the hull surface of the RBS at the design speed, and the SKS is applied as the comparison ship. The resistance of the three hulls is predicted using the CFD software FLOW-3D, at the same time, the midship section modulus of the three hulls is calculated in this paper. It shows that the resistance of the TKS is slightly lower than that of the RBS at the design speed, and about 50% lower than that of the SKS. On the other side, the strength of the TKS increased about 15% than the RBS, and 6.9% than the SKS.

Abstract: On account of the north anchorage of Maanshan Yangtze River bridge, the drawdown of caisson foundation may bring about new seepage field of the ground, which make soil consolidate. This paper build two-dimensional plane strain finite-element models of open caisson and the Yangtze River levee, which aim to analyze the effect on the Yangtze River levee by drawdown of the open caisson foundation. Through the seepage analysis of the open caisson foundation and the stability analysis of the slope, this paper obtain the settlement and coefficients of stability against sliding of the Yangtze River levee.

Abstract: In development countries, safety management of engineering construction is usually undertaken by professional agencies with corresponding safety qualification. But In Chinese Mainland, it is basically implemented by the development organizations own staffs that are lack of enough professional safety management knowledge. A kind of engineering construction safety Consultant mode, with the connation of systematical Management, professional Consultant, on-site Guidance, standardized Operation (thus named "MCGO" safety consultant mode), is put forward in this paper. It means a professional agency is entrusted by the project development organization to carry out the on-site safety management. The implement and operation ways of "MCGO" Safety Consultant Mode are elaborated. This mode has been successfully applied in the safety management of Taizhou Bridge, which was praised by the Ministry of Transport of China as safety management model of extra-large bridge construction.

Abstract: In recent years, the construction of roads and bridges in China has been made remarkable achievements; the construction quality and road performance have been greatly improved. But the soft foundation settlement processing still prevents the quality of driving from improving. The improper handling of soft foundation settlement would result in vehicle bump at bridge head, and cause damage to the road surface of the bridge and telescopic device. On the principle of effective stress of the soil, a method is used to accelerate the foundation settlement in the negative pressure zone, and it has effectively reduced the differential settlement of bridge-head which improves the stability of roadbed.

Abstract: Under the background of international trade and economic globalization, shipping enterprise which provide ocean shipping service undertake most cargo transportation globally plays a very important role today. Ships navigation is the basic operating method of shipping enterprise, ship crew is undoubted a key factor. Due to the specificity of ocean shipping industry, work specification greatly different from onshore staff, therefore, crew qualification evaluation is a challenge. This article based on the characteristics of shipping enterprise, specifically study on comprehensive evaluation index system for crew qualification, adopted multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to obtain each index weight and corresponding values, proved effectiveness of model through appraisal of crew in a shipping enterprise. The model designed comprehensive crew qualification evaluation index system, it provides reference for crew performance assessment and further improved crew human resources management and career planning.

Abstract: Application effect of magnetic gradients data continuation from undulate surface to plane has been analyzed by model test. The gradient data of before and after the processing was used for the analytic signal and the Euler deconvolution method calculation respectively, comparing the calculated results show that the maxima of analytic signal calculated by gradients anomaly on undulate surface deviate obviously from the center location of the prism magnetic source, and the position of prism boundaries are not clear. However, the analytic signal calculated by gradients anomaly after continuation from undulate surface to plane can be successfully used to estimate the center and boundaries position of prism. The solutions of Euler deconvolution method calculated by gradients anomaly on undulate surface are dispersive, the solutions calculated by gradients anomaly after continuation from undulate surface to plane are relatively clustering, and can outline clearly the positions of prism corners. The results demonstrate that continuation from undulate surface to plane processing of gradients anomaly can improve the application effect of analytic signal and Euler deconvolution technique.

Abstract: Arresting the emission of road transport is one of the significant issues to develop the low-carbon transportation in urban area. This paper mainly discusses the substantial approaches both from technological and behavioral aspects to reduce even arrest the environmental impact from vehicle emissions. The technological approaches from supply side include constructing the transport facilities, transport system management and technological upgrading of fleet and fuel; while behavior modifications from travel demand side take account of the traffic restraint measures such as road pricing, the promotion of public transport and land use modification. This paper focuses on evaluating the potential and limitations of these approaches through the examples in the countries of the UK, America, Japan, Netherlands, Italy and China.

Abstract: The passage analyzed the influence factors of dynamic balance of the turbocharger rotor. According to the structure of turbo rotor components and compressor impeller, the article proposes the matching process of impeller shaft and the selection of equipment model and expounds the importance of rotor dynamic balance. The working principles of two models of whole dynamic balancing machine are comparative analyzed, so as to provide a selection for processing choice.
