Abstract: AHP is a method broadly applied in Risk Assessment. However this method has some shortcomings in evaluations. The subjective qualitative analysis of risk events and impacts in the wharf risk assessment make the conclusion with vagueness, which reduces the credibility of the result. The core idea of the Evidence Theory is the synthesis of evidence, which can be a good expression of "uncertainty" and "unknown", using the theory in the assessment can reveal the uncertainty effectively. In order to improve the accuracy and reliability of the assessment, this method combines AHP with D-S Evidence Theory, in which the D-S Evidence Theory applied to fuse and correct the expert rating data for determine-making of the wharf risk and AHP used to establish the system of assessment and determine the value. The Combination Rule for data fusion of multi- reliability can improve the reliability and make up for the lack of AHP. Through correction and data fusion by Synthetic Formula, the high support reviews get higher credibility, the low support reviews get lower credibility after synthesis, the polarization phenomenon lets the result more realistic and accurate. Taking a wharf project for example to prove the new combination method is more applicable to the wharf risk assessment.

Abstract: in this paper, the key technology of the traffic statement automatic detection is researched, based on analyzing the properties of the information from the collected license plates, a new automatic traffic statement detective method is pointed out, this new method can express the essential characters of the traffic statement, and valuably gain the precise degree. This automatic detective method expresses the fine applicative prospect in the field of the real time traffic statement detection and management.

Abstract: This paper mainly focuses on the recent development of MOTION system. MOTION system, as a developing urban adaptive traffic signal control system, is now more and more worldwide recognized. In this paper, first the original idea of MOTION is descript. Calculation procedures of MOTION algorithm are followed. Then methods of optimization, including optimization of green split, optimization of cycle time, optimization of offset times are introduced. Platoon Model, as a vital concept in optimization of offset times, are explained in details. Multi functional levels in MOTION system including the tactical level and the operational level are introduced in figures. At last, implementation results of MOTION system in Germany are shown to prove MOTION as a very efficient method in improving urban traffic quality.

Abstract: The management of school buss safety and information system: achieving real-time monitoring of the school bus by making use of the IC card swiping and counting, GPS positioning, speed limiter, infrared sensors and other technologies. Information related to school bus driving collected from the vehicle terminal is sent to the network platform where parents can inquire the real-time information. Consequently, it keeps close contact between parents, schools, and students as well as fully protects the safety of school buses.

Abstract: The urban expressway overpass entrance is an important node of the urban road system. Traffic jams often happen at entrance. The characteristics of urban expressway entrance and the advantages of the microscopic traffic simulation were combined to analyze capacity of entrance. VISSIM simulation software was used and the validity of the simulation model was verified. The influence of the main road traffic flow and the desired speed of entrance to flow and speed of the urban expressway entrance were analyzed through simulation experiment. On the whole, traffic capacity of urban expressway entrance reduces with the increase of traffic flow on the main road. The higher the desired speed is, the faster traffic capacity reduces. The increase of speed and control of main road traffic flow is of great significance for improving the capacity and service level of expressway.

Abstract: There are many factors affecting vessels stopping distance and crash stopping distance, and it is very complicated to calculate them accurately. At present there are several calculation methods about them, but all these methods have large error. Based on the research of the existing calculation methods, this paper simplifies vessel resistance and calculates vessels stopping distance and crash stopping distance accurately by means of physical and mathematical methods.

Abstract: Traffic congestion brings more and more negative effects on the urban economy and society safety. This paper analyzes and extends the travel mode split problem for urban multimodal networks based on the game theory and Arnotts bottleneck model. Firstly, we present a theoretical model of traffic behavior under various tolling schemes such as no-toll and dynamic toll. Secondly, several important behavioral features related to the response of users to the congestion pricing strategy are provided. Such features include the travelers relative valuations of early arrival, late arrival, and the bus conditions. Finally, we put forward numerical examples to explain the model.

Abstract: Through MATLAB programming, the parameters of valve cam profile will be selected and calculated. The general design principles and methods for higher-degree polynomial asymmetrical cam profile will be introduced, improved design and experimental verification have been conducted to the cam profile of 4C18 diesel engine, and significant result has been obtained. The result shows that the higher-degree polynomial asymmetrical cam profile can effectively improve the dynamic property of valve cam and the economy, emission and dynamic property of the high-speed working section of the engine.
