Abstract: The core drilling method is used for testing the concrete strength of the cast-in-place piles during the construction of a power plant. The concrete strength of some cast-in-place piles is far lower than the normal expected value. The incorrect construction sequence is the main cause of the quality problem. It is inadvisable to shorten the time limit for a project while ignoring the project quality. The more time will be spent to solve the quality problem of the project after the construction is complete. The construction organization is important for the quality of the projects and the reasonable construction sequence can improve the project quality.

Abstract: According to the weighted residual method to deduce the finite element method of temperature field. The Jiwoxiga high-temperature rock tunnel on the Lhasa-Shigatse railway line is taked for example in the paper, then the actual drilling temperature data was combined to establish three-dimensional finite element model, the basic characteristics of temperature field was forecasted, the basic rule of temperature was obtained and the data can be compared with the actual data. It can provide references for the actual construction and ensure the similar engineering construction.

Abstract: When carrying on laboratory experimental studies on broken piles, the test results depend on the technique used in simulating the model piles. Based on laboratory model tests, a complete set of making process of broken piles used in the study of the working behavior and mechanism of broken piles was presented in detail. The techniques include the pore-forming process and the simulation of the broken defects. The load vs. settlement curves for the vertically loaded broken piles obtained through the model pile tests were adopted and demonstrated the feasibility of the production process.

Abstract: This paper is mainly about the hard rock tunnel boring machine (TBM) and the space-curved belt conveyer used in flow-diversion tunnel at Jinping-II hydropower station, This kind of rock excavation and transportation mode by TBM and the space-curved belt conveyer not only represents the advanced technology in the process of tunnel excavation and transportation, but also resolve the ventilation problem in excavation and transportation of the large diameter tunnel with long distance. This application also brings better working conditions and increases the safety in the case of low input.

Abstract: In a sense, architecture may be called as a geometric figure. Although architectural forms are very different, the form from one kind of architecture to another kind of architecture is equivalent to one kind of mathematical transformation in view of mathematics; for example, the transformation between a cube architecture and a spherical architecture belongs to a topological transformation. Currently, many sculptural features appear in the architecture design, which may be called as the nonlinear architecture. Curves and curved surfaces are widely used in the architecture modeling. Moreover, functional spaces are divided inside the architecture shell according to requirements. Architects are inclined to use a mathematical theory especially the geometrical knowledge in an architecture design. However, architects can not imagine many artistic geometric figures in geometry. Besides, such wonderful geometric figures always include some miraculous mathematical and physical properties.

Abstract: Slow-down dome is widely used in rural highway security engineering due to low cost, strong deceleration performance, good quality effect. The Subject conducts the research and discussion combined with the design principles, control points of construction technology, analysis of quality inspection and evaluation and analysis on safety effect of grouted stone highway l in the security engineering of ShangShui-Quan road. This provides references for the implementation of security engineering principles which is “Safe, effective, suit measures to local conditions”. In March 2012, the Ministry of transport of rural highway construction and maintenance management work conference put appeal about " let peasants go on road safety assured way, strengthen the rural highway security infrastructure ". In order to carry out the security engineering construction principles about conference proposed “safe, effective, economic, practical" rural road, Tianjin Municipal Highway Administration Bureau set up “the implementation of technical guidelines of Tianjin city rural highway traffic safety facilities” science and technology project research group to research demonstration. This paper conducts practice of argumentation combined with quality stability, practicality, operation process safety of Caigou Road security engineering being aimed at Belgium pavement; it provides technical supporting for the further promotion of the subject.

Abstract: In order to quantitative study the loads inertia on the effect of dynamic response on a simply supported beam, a simply supported beam with a fixed section forms and different span has been calculated under two different loading modes including moving load and moving mass by numerical method by MATLAB program. The calculated results shows the exact solution of beam vibration differential equation can be calculated and a quantitative description can be made about the load inertia effects on dynamic responses of the simply supported beam. These results provide guidance to the project practice.

Abstract: To find the improved effect on the foundation bearing capacity of lateral fill, combining with the stress characteristics of the foundation soil, the soil force was analyzed. One element of the soil body was taken as the research object, according to the force equilibrium condition of the element of soil,the ultimate bearing capacity could be obtained by calculating torque of one point. The Prandtl and Prandtl-Reissner foundation ultimate bearing capacity formulas were deduced and contrasted. The results showed that the lateral fill could improve the bearing capacity of the culverts foundation when the settlement of the culverts foundation satisfied the design request.

Abstract: In order to study the deformation of super-long structures under the influence of creep , take fully advantage of orthogonal design to make nine series reinforced concrete beams of shrinkage-compensating to deeply analyze the function performanced by creep of the reinforced concrete structure and obtain that the time-deflection curves of volume deformation and creep deformation of shrinkage-compensating reinforced concrete beams. The results show that the creep of beams develops rapidly early and the slow development of the late. The greater the expansion stress is in the early, the greater the shrinkage strain in the late, the greater the deformation of volume. So, the appropriate mixing ratio of expansive agent is given by the experiment. It provides a scientific basis for seamless design of super-long structures.
