Abstract: Stable aqueous solution of purple carbon black (PCB) was prepared first and then added to prevulcanized natural rubber latex. The effects of the amount of PCB, silane coupling agent and the type of silane coupling agent on the mechanical properties of the vulcanized latex film were researched. The results show that the best mechanical properties were obtained when the vulcanized film was filled with 6 phr PCB modified by KH560. TG shows that thermal stability of the film with PCB modified by KH560 increased. DSC shows that the glass transition temperature of the film increased after adding PCB.

Abstract: The main-chain structure and chlorine distribution of chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSM), which was prepared via gas-solid phase method, were studied in this article. All the structure types of CSM 3550 and CSM 3570 were completely characterized by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR). According to the 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectra, the chlorine content (Cl wt %) and sulfur content (S wt %) of CSM 3550 and CSM 3570 could be completely calculated and this value was much close to the theoretical values, which were provided by the manufacturer. The comparison shows that the chlorine distribution of CSMs via gas-solid phase method is more uniform than that of CSMs via solution method.

Abstract: Sulfonated polymer membranes play an important role in PEMFC (proton exchange membrane fuel cell). Series of sulfonated polyamides were prepared by polycondensation of a CF3-containing diamine with various ratios of terephthalic acid and 5-Sodiosulfoisophthalic acid. Sulfonated polyamides were characterized by 1H-NMR, FTIR and intrinsic viscosity. The resulting polyamides exhibited outstanding thermal stability. Membranes were prepared by solution casting, then characterized by determining ion-exchange capacity (IEC), water uptake, swelling ratio, proton conductivity and mechanical properties. With the gradual growth of sulfonic acid groups from 70% to 100% (molar ratio), IEC increased to 1.0223meq/g, and proton conducticity reached up to 3.82×10-2S/cm, while water uptake and swelling ratio remained in proper values. And the tensile strength of membranes was beyond 46.63MPa, which showed very good perspectives in PEMFC applications.

Abstract: In order to take full advantage of straw liquefied product to make the best mechanical properties of polyurethane synthesis. This experiment studied on the Synthesis technology of polyurethane elastomer by straw liquefied product. Under the role of catalyst,by using butanol as a liquid agent, at 160 °C, 2h later ,we could obtain straw liquefied products, Synthesis of polyurethane elastomer with two-step method, through orthogonal test and the performance testing of the finished product . The results showed that: curing agent is 3% (1:33), the initial reaction temperature is 40 °C, curing time is 8h, the mechanical properties were the best. Key words: Straw, Liquefied product, polyurethane elastomer

Abstract: A thermoresponsive glycopolymer poly-(N-isopropylacrylamide-co-6-O-vinylsebacoyl D-glucose) (poly-NIPAM-co-VSEG; PNE) has been prepared by free radical polymerization process, and subsequently processed into nanofibers with poly-L-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone (PLCL) using electrospinning. The thermoresponsive glycopolymer materials have been characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, 1H NMR, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). And the lower critical solution temperature (LCST) of these thermoresponsive materials was also measured. The nanofibers containing PNE can greatly selective recognize with lectin Concanavalin A (Con A), and the adsorbed Con A can be easily eluted by 1 M glucose solution. These results indicate that PNE can separate and purify proteins, and also the temperature sensitive characteristic has the potential to achieve the intelligent control.

Abstract: Tara gum is a natural hydrocolloid obtained by a mechanical process from the endosperm of Tara tree seeds. In this study, chemical composition and structure of tara polysaccharide gum were characterized by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer (GC-MS). Its rheological properties were also discussed. The results showed that tara gum had typical characteristics of plant polysaccharides, which was mainly consisted of galactose and mannose (mass ratio of galactose/mannose was 4.2:1), as well as a small amount of arabinose, glucose and xylose. The viscosity of tara gum solution was increased with the increase of its concentration. The tara gum solution demonstrated a higher viscocity at the shear rate lower than 80 Hz, but a higher elasticity at the shear rate higher than 80 Hz.

Abstract: The new high temperature resistance graft copolymer inhibitor based on starch and acrylic acid, 2-acrylamide-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid by solution polymerization reaction with self-made initiator. Laboratory evaluation experiment shows that a new scale inhibitor still has better effect, anti-scaling rate is 85.21%. The field test show that the dosage is 500ppm, the new high temperature resistance starch graft copolymer inhibitor by single well dosing, to solve problems of Xing-buried hills block and pipeline scaling and downhole ESP scaling.

Abstract: A serial of micro-scale cationic particles was synthesized by inverse suspension polymerization. These particles formed flocs with hydrolyzed polyacrylamide through electrostatic attraction. The structure of these flocs evolved from a bulk state to insulated microspheres at a critical salt concentration, which increased with increasingly cationic degree of particles, corresponding to the change of Zeta potential. Moreover, the adsorbance of HPAM on the cationic particles attained a maximum about 409 mg/g at 500mg/L HPAM in salt-free water and 237 mg/g at 800mg/L HPAM in 2wt% NaCl solution at 20°C according to a semi-quantitative method implemented by viscosity contrast experiment. This adsorbance difference accounts for that the electrostatic shielding effect of salt stimulates the desorption rate of HPAM.

Abstract: Aiming at the increasing trend of pollution in Tianyin Lake watershed, more and more studied were carried out in order to alleviate lake eutrophication. COD(Chemical Oxygen Demand), TN(total nitrogen), DO (Dissolved Oxygen), NH4+-N (ammonium nitrogen), NO2--N (nitrite nitrogen) and PO43--P (phosphate) were measured for almost one month. The results showed that With the water temperature increasing, the DO concentration decreased; ammonia, nitrate, total nitrogen, COD, and phosphate increased; it had no effect on the nitrite concentration. This information was helpful in providing the basis for theoretical basis of effective management of lakes.
