Abstract: As the organization structure of weft-knitted fabrics contains a very complicated spatial structure, it is hard to identify it. In this paper, the indirect identification method is put forward in this paper, the planar prediction on the spatial trend of weft-knitted fabric yarns, in accordance with the double-sided compatible database for structuring the coil level, by means of the SURF algorithm, so as to realize the identification of weft-knitted fabric organization structure.

Abstract: Auxetic yarn is designed by ourselves by wrap-core structure, which has special physical properties and geometrical structure different from traditional yarn. The wrap-core auxetic yarn will expand transversely under tension. Therefore, the tensile tests were conducted to analyze effects of structural parameters and performance on lateral deformation of yarn. The experimental results show that yarn with negative Poissons ratio as low as-4.31 is produced successfully. Moreover, effects of structure and performance, including the wrap angle, the diameter ratio, the tension modulus of the wrap yarn and the twist of the core yarn, on poissons ratio of yarn are analyzed. It is found that the negative Poissons ratio effect becomes more observable with the higher diameter ratio or lower wrap angle, and it becomes much more observable when the twist degree of the core yarn is higher or the wrap yarns modulus is lower.

Abstract: During the process of running, running clothing fabrics are in constantly stretching, rubbing and humid environment. However, the previous investigations of the fabric are usually a single performance or the combination of two performance researches. Therefore, this article will consider the athletes body muscles stretch rate, the athlete body sweat and material degree of friction. It was discussed that the stretch and recovery properties of six running fabrics having been tested and evaluated with orthogonal analysis and variance analysis. At last, fabrics in different parts of the body choose according to the optimal use of them. The result will do good to use these fabrics in running clothing development. It will give some references to the development of functional sports products in the future.

Abstract: Porous structure of fabric has a significant impact on the fabric functions such as air permeability, water transport and heat retention. In this article, six knitted fabrics with different blend ratio of cotton-like modified polyester fiber and cotton fiber were prepared. Pore sizes and its distribution of the fabrics were measured by CFP-1100-AI pore diameter tester. Porosity of the fabrics was obtained by three ways respectively, namely loop model method, image method and density method. The results show that the pore diameter of blended knitted fabrics presents an asymmetric distribution, that is, the smaller pores have a greater proportion to the total pores than larger pores. There exists an obvious diameter change in the pore size distribution which indicates the transition from intra-yarn pores to inter-yarn pores. Among the 3 test methods for porosity, the porosity obtained by the image method is much smaller than that of loop model method and density method, but its relationship to the fiber blending ratio is consistent with the variation law of fabric air permeability, which indicates intra-loop pores takes greater impact on air permeability of fabrics. The results of present study can play a theoretical guiding role in comfort property design and product development of cotton-like polyester fabrics.

Abstract: In order to understand the influence of stretching on the nanotribological properties of human hair, the European hair with stretching ratios at 20, 40, 60 and 80% were studied using atomic force microscopy (AFM). The results show that appropriate stretching ratios (40-60%) make the European hair surface smoother and the friction measurements also verify the result. When the stretching ratio is 80%, the European hair has the highest coefficient of friction. The reason is that cuticle damages lead to the local ratchet and collision between AFM tip and the sample obviously increased. With the increase of stretching ratios, the adhesive force of European hair is nonlinear change, which is attributed to the influence of contact area, water molecules absorbed and the amount of polar molecules.

Abstract: Pre-draft for the stainless steel conductive fiber was completed by using the large roller straddletype drafting-cutting technology and the production of the conductive yarn was realized using conventional spinning equipment. This paper successfully developed the antistatic filter cloth taking advantage of the conductive yarns for the petrochemical industry and educed the regression equation between the charge surface density under all kinds of conductive fiber content in the conductive yarn and conductive yarn spacing, which assumed a cubic polynomial curve relationship. The corresponding relationship between the conductive fiber content in the conductive yarn and conductive yarn spacing concluded can be used to guide practical production.

Abstract: The optical jacquard decorative fabric which had patterns in dynamic display was woven with side-emitting polymer optical fibers (POF) and common textile fibers. The side-emitting POFs were designed as surface wefts in luminous parts of the fabric, and the POFs were back in other parts. These POFs were divided into different groups according to luminous sequence. Then the POFs were connected with light sources and a specific circuit. Finally the patterns of fabric could display like animation. When POFs didnt emit light, the fabric kept the effect of traditional jacquard fabric.

Abstract: By adding polymeric emulsifier, acrylic emulsion as the fabric stiffening agent with core-shell structure was synthesized visa monomer concentration gradient dropwise addition method. The effect of synthetic condition such as the content of polymeric emulsifier and ratio of soft monomer (BA)/hard monomer (MMA) on properties of acrylic emulsion were studied in detail, and the role of polymeric emulsifier during the process of the film-forming was also discussed. Films after tackiness resistance, minimum filming temperature (MFT) and glass transition temperature (Tg) were tested by QNF, QMB type measuring instrument and differential scanning calorimeters (DSC), respectively. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observed the morphology of latex particles. Results showed 40wt% polymeric emulsifier was the best emulsifying system in term of emulsion stability, after tackiness resistance, MFT and appearance of the emulsion. DSC analysis confirmed that the polymeric emulsifier and acrylic emulsion could not fully achieve thermodynamic compatibility. In addition, TEM results showed that latex particles prepared by monomer concentration gradient dropwise addition method had obvious core-shell structure. Hydrogen-bond interaction between polymeric emulsifiers carboxyls played a great role in the film-forming process, so polymeric emulsifier could improve films after tackiness resistance and MFT.

Abstract: This paper studies the cool comfort performance of cool refreshing type fabric, starting from the fabric heat and moisture performance, style property and air permeability, using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, the principal component analysis and tactile methods to evaluate the fabric of the cool comfort performance, and statistical analysis of the correlation between physical indexes and cool comfort performance, get air permeability, moisture resistance, moisture rate and thermal resistance indexes can be used as the physical indexes of cool refreshing type fabric of cool comfort performance; at the same time, studies show that the test method can accurately reflect the cool refreshing type fabric of cool comfort performance is a subjective and objective evaluation method of combining.
