Abstract: The study is to weave the yarns of silver-plated fiber and photocatalyst fiber together to make 18 kinds of fabrics with different woven proportions and structures, and conduct antibacterial experiments on the fabrics with agar diffusion plate method. The experimental results show that for the strains of E.coli and Staphylococcus aureus, with the increasing woven proportion of silver-plated fiber and photocatalyst fiber, the width of inhibition zone grows; and in the condition of the same woven proportion of the two fibers, the plain weave fabric has the best antibacterial activity. And overall considering the antibacterial activity, cost and safety of the fabric, the plain weave fabric with 12.5% distribution ratio of silver-plated fiber is the optimal antibacterial fabric among the 18 samples.

Abstract: In this study four kinds of materials on the market most commonly used for sportswear are selected to knit one sports vest in plain style, woven by seamless circular knitting machine. We use wind tunnel tests to do the experiments and gather datum of experiments and analyze them to research the relationship between textile materials and wind resistance performance of sportswear. The results showed that: in the wind tunnel experiments, when wind speed is between 3.3 m/s and 9.35m/s, the wind resistance performance of the four experiment clothes is almost the same; When between 9.35 m/s and 11.00m/s, their wind resistance performance demonstrates a dispersion level; When it is between 11.00m/s and 18.70m/s, their differences of wind resistance performance between the four clothes are significant. The wind resistance performance could be sequenced from the good to the poor like this: 15.6tex combed cotton + coolmax modified polyester, 7.7tex/48f nylon, 15.6tex combed cotton, 9.7tex modal +15.6tex TC, and the fitting curve equation is obtained from the measured datum analysis through the SPSS software.

Abstract: The warm-cool feeling of 8 kinds knitted fabrics was test by KES-F7, the subjective of warm-cool feeling was evaluated with hand touching by 30 female volunteers. The relationship between objective measurement and subjective evaluation was studied by the correlation analysis method. It is found that the transient heat conduction between the fabric and skin is influenced by the fiber composition and structure obviously. The surface properties and the parts of absorption and quick-drying property have an opposite correlation on the knitted fabric warm-cool feeling.

Abstract: The sport shoes should have moisture absorbing & quick drying property, the quick-drying property of the shoes is affected by the shoe material such as upper, lining and insole. In this paper, three types shoes were prepared with hemp/polyester blended fabric, cotton and polyester. Their quick-drying properties of were studied using methods such as static simulation and animated simulations. The hemp/Polyester shoe possesses better moisture absorbent and quick drying property.

Abstract: To reveal specific wearing property and principle of polysulfonamide (PSA) blended fabric, this paper aims to make a comparative study of the performance of new PSA blended fabric based on mechanical property, thermal protective performance and, at the same time, explore the performance gap between the different fabrics. Based on the gray fixed weight clustering analysis of gray system theory, several PSA blended fabric have been proved with excellent comprehensive performance, these provided a basis for the selection of thermal protective clothing fabrics.

Abstract: PAN fiber is one that contains at least 85% by mass of acrylonitrile co-monomer in the polymer chain. It has low moisture-absorbency and electrostatic tendency. Using collagen modified PAN fiber can overcome the shortcomings. Collagen modified PAN fiber is a kind of surface modification fiber which was hydrolyzed by NaOH aqueous solution first, and then grafted with collagen. The performance of collagen modified PAN fiber was studied. The results show that: compared with PAN fiber, the surface of collagen modified PAN fiber is smooth and covered by collagen composition, the moisture regain increased from 2% to 6.1%,the breaking strength and elongation of collagen modified PAN fiber are decreased, the breaking strength is 2.31 cN/dtex, the breaking elongation is 22.8%, dyeing properties of collagen modified PAN fiber with cationic dyes and acid dyes are excellent and the goods have bright color and good color fastness.

Abstract: Wheat protein composite fiber is a kind of new regenerated cellulose fiber containing protein utilization of wheat bran prepared. The fundamental characteristics of wheat protein composite fiber were studied. The results show that the dry fracture strength is 2.03 cN/dtex and it is lower than that of viscose fiber. It has high moisture regain and low fracture strength and the moisture regain of the fiber is 12.23%. The whiteness of wheat protein composite fiber is lower than viscose fiber. The combustion performance of wheat protein composite fiber is similar to viscose fiber. Compared with wool, the combustion performance is easy. Dyeing properties of the fiber with reactive dyes is excellent and the goods have bright color and good color fastness. The dyeing percentage of direct dyes reached to 90%. The wheat protein composite fiber product is deeply liked by people with its good wearing property, and extensively applied to wear base material with its fine affinity.

Abstract: More and more concern for environmental problems has led public to use natural and environmentally benign sound-absorbing materials. In this study, the sound-absorbing nonwoven composites based on kapok fiber and hollow polyester fiber were developed and sound absorption properties of kapok fiber nonwoven composites were investigated in the low frequency region of 100-500 Hz using the impedance tube method. The poor sound-absorbing at low-frequency is one of the difficult problems that urgently need to be solved in fibrous sound-absorbing materials. The effects of physical parameters, including bulk density and thickness, and depth of back cavity on sound absorption properties of composites were studied. Increasing of the bulk density, thickness and depth of back cavity is contribute to improve sound absorption properties of composites at low frequency. The comparisons of kapok fiber with polypropylene (PP) fiber and hollow polyester fiber indicated that as a natural fiber, kapok fiber had a superior acoustical properties at low frequency.

Abstract: To research the relationship between wearability of traditional Mongolian clothing fabrics and geographical location and climate of mongolian regions, nine mongolian clothing fabrics of Barag Banner, Ujimqin and Chahar Right Back Banner in China were selected. According to geographical location and climate of three regions, their structure parameters and comfort performances were analysed. The most primary characteristics of clothing fabrics in mongolian region were concluded in this research, which must be valuable to the environment adaptability research of human to Mongolian Plateau.

Abstract: Pure silk has good luster and biological compatibility , but its conductivity is very poor; CNT(carbon nanotubes) is good at adsorbing and has good conductivity. Therefore, with CNT modifying silk fabric, silk fabric properties could be improved. In this paper, the CNT was purified and modified with acid, and the silk fabric was modified with CNT which was treated. And it studied the effects of solution’s pH, the concentration of CNT, reaction time, reaction temperature and bath ratio on modification.The best process conditions of the study was determined by the results of gain rate of weight and K/S value,namely: the solution pH is 4, the weight of CNT is 0.06 g, the reaction time is 90 minutes, the reaction temperature is 95 °C and reaction of bath ratio is 1:200. Under this condition, the conductivity performance of the sample, is best.
