Quality Control Scheme Design on Remanufactured Engine Electronic Control Unit

Article Preview

Abstract:

The quality control scheme on remanufactured Engine Electronic Control Unit (ECU) was studied designed. According to the effectiveness of environmental factors exciting faults, the quality control technology and method on remanufactured ECU was proposed to meet the rigorous quality requirements on remanufactured electronic product. The temperature cycling test, random vibration test and damp heat test in this scheme were defined. After experiments, the near failures ECUs are eliminated. The testing results indicate that used engines ECUs are suitable for remanufacturing and reusing.
