Abstract: The cost estimation of mold design is a hard issue because of the complexity and variety of the products. We assume that the cost is largely decided by the time for design since labor salaries are increasingly important nowadays. In this paper, we propose a platform to count all the time consumed in all the design details, from which several statistics and analysis reports are made. Based on the data, the managers can acknowledge all the processes details in the design groups. Moreover, bottlenecks in design can be prevised and corresponding measures can be taken in advance. The existing data can also be borrowed for the later quotation for the similar designs. Certain companies have deployed our system and verify that it greatly help the cost estimation and control.

Abstract: The relationship between suppliers and buyers has had significant changes in recent years. Among those suppliers are small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) providing machining services as demanded by their clients. Usually this type of company faces difficulties to adequately manage the selling price of services to be rendered. Larger companies on the other hand have the ability to quickly and more accurately manage their costs and related prices due to the utilization of expensive software which are often not viable for SMEs. This paper proposes a procedure based on the contribution margin concept which enables the SMEs dedicated to supplying machining services to perform an economic analysis of the machining process as a way to improve the efficiency of its cost management and pricing of their services.

Abstract: In order to reveal the internal rule and external form of the modern circulation equipment and technology integrated mode of the freshwater fish, a systemic theory frame and its mechanistic model have been constructed by using System Analysis Method in this paper. Then through researching 10 domestic cities and dealing with that information, three typical integrated equipment and technology modes have been found, which could adapt to the trend of freshwater fish circulation modernization.

Abstract: Production site management, which uses of scientific management principles, management methods and management means to make reasonable configuration and optimization of various factors of production factors on site, ensures the smooth realization of production targets. The paper analyses the problems existed in the cutting workshop, and discusses the application of production site management in the project of improving cutting bed productivity in the following aspects, definition stage, measurement stage, analysis stage, and implement stage.

Abstract: Power grid crisis that have taken place at home and abroad warns the importance of power grid crisis management. This paper studies the development of the theory on power grid crisis management. Deficiency of the traditional human-intelligence decision-making rule indicates the necessity of research on Online Intelligent Decision-making System of Power-grid Security based on Data Mining. This paper also introduces the development of relevant theory and its concrete application. Research on the above will have profound significance for China to deal with power grid crisis.

Abstract: Power grid crisis happening at home and abroad warns the urgency of power grid crisis management. It is necessary to research on online intelligent decision-making system of power-grid security based on data mining. This paper studies the status of foreign online intelligent decision-making system of power-grid security and the concrete application of foreign online intelligent decision-making system of power-grid security. Based on advanced data mining technology, by online updating safety limit-rules and automatically digging out the running rules, the safe limit values are in line with actual condition of power-grid, dispatchers can adjust the grid by running this limit and can obtain a larger cross-section delivery power-flow. In such a way, it not only can ease the power shortage situation of the system, but also improve poor power transmission ability, and produce economic benefits.

Abstract: In this study, an analysis is made of facility maintenance process and its modeling for economic analysis. Especially, we are looking after the modeling method for estimating its cost through input data based on facility information. This allows biding for some plant operating and maintenance orders through results of cost estimation and economic analysis. Thus, we can make proper cost sheet of plant operation and maintenance through systematic cost assessment, reliable operation and maintenance related projects in the bid through management. Furthermore, we are going to conduct a case study to apply the above mentioned model.

Abstract: Considering time-vary in unit cost and imperfect quality in process, this study presents a genetic algorithm to deal with the production schedule and batch lot problem for a manufacturing system. Incorporating linearly and exponentially continuous unit production cost, we assume that defective items are reworked at a constant rate after regular production immediately. Not all of the defective items are reworked but a portion of them are scraped due to serious damage. Our objective is to minimize the expected value of total cost for this production system. A genetic algorithm with the chromosome of real number type to solve this problem is proposed. Standard GA operators are used to generate new populations. These populations are evaluated by a fitness function using the total cost of production scheme. An explicit procedure for obtaining an approximate solution is provided.

Abstract: Nowadays, zero inventory and just in time production and management technology are got attention by more and more domestic and foreign automobile enterprises. Accurate prediction of car sales is the key technology for ensuring zero inventory and product planning of enterprises. In this paper, a prediction model about car sales based on grey neural network was researched. Combining the advantages of grey model in the way of dealing of small sample data, and BP neural network in finding regularity of weak correlation data, the accuracy of the prediction results was improved. Finally, the model was validated by practical application of automobile enterprise production data.

Abstract: Concerning the steam-driven induced draft fan renovation tendency in large coal-fired power plants, the economic analysis of steam-driven way is proposed. And based on the 600MW unit of different capacity, the application characteristics are analyzed. As the result, the economic benefit of 600MW subcritical, supercritical and ultra-supercritical units are 6.93×106, 5.14×106 and 3.81×106 RMB, respectively. The lower main steam parameters, the larger economic benefit.
