Abstract: The "Excellence Engineers Education and Training Program" is one of the major reform projects that the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China (PRC) is implementing for the "National Plan for Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development (2010--2020)"[1]. Based on "3+1 Program" of talents training mode for the "Excellence Engineers Education and Training Program", the framework for cooperative education was devised, in which science and engineering, theory and practice, academia and industry are comined to prepare students who not only create, design, and build, but understand the nature and behavior of the materials used in the building. To the end, the knowledge system of material science and engineering, including the necessary basic and characteristic professional knowledge, was proposed on the basis of the talents training experience exceeding ten years.

Abstract: At present, there is a big gap between education level of Chinese universities and that of North American universities, especially compare with US universities. The paper studied the key factors for the success of North American university education according the authors experience and analyzed the problems existing in Chinese university education. Taking the curriculum of Data Structure as an example, the paper developed a teaching reform scheme focusing on cultivating students abilities. Two years practical teaching results showed that the teaching reforms proposed in this paper can stimulated the students initiative to learn. The students were able to apply the theoretical knowledge to solve the practical problems. Accordingly teaching efficiency has been improved significantly.

Abstract: In order to strengthen the communication between students and teachers and improve the teaching effect.In this paper, a kind of excellent course website based on Wordpress was designed.Set up different levels user system by station group, by which the communications between each network module realized. Teacher can build their own page as substation administer.In this paper the key steps of the construction were descripting in detail. Experiments show: it is a reliable and effective website construction scheme with simple extention and maintenance.

Abstract: C language program design is a basic and also the core of university teaching computer courses. This paper discussed C language animated programming and curriculum tutorial design in the engineering applications, need be able to combine theoretical knowledge and practical application, in the limited class hours, stimulate students' interest in learning, and improve students' ability to actual use the C programming language. This paper summarized some experience about the characteristics of C language to improve the efficiency of teaching curriculum design guidance and outcomes, improve engineering capabilities.

Abstract: The object of this study is applying the mathematical concepts to help students for learning the deflection analysis of beams. We integrate the concepts and techniques of calculus, derivative, programming writing, and deflection of beam device manufacture to achieve the purpose of this work. The results show the computer dynamic teaching and simulation enable the students to know the representation of deflection analysis of beams, and realize the graphic representation of basic deflection concepts of beam. In facts, the dynamic teaching helps the students to effectively understand deflection analysis on beams with different loads.

Abstract: This paper describes a method of forming an interdisciplinary conceptual cluster in mathematics and physics on the basis of a graph model of interdisciplinary links developed by T.N. Gnitetskaya. Interdisciplinary hyperspace for mathematics and physics courses for engineering majors according to the group of concepts was built. In the framework of the model, quantitative characteristics of interdisciplinary links were evaluated, using which a hierarchy of clusters content was established and the fundamental unit of concepts was emphasized. A quantitative meaning of "capacity" of an interdisciplinary conceptual cluster of mathematics and physics courses according to the group of concepts was achieved.

Abstract: This article describes the principles of development of the informational educational environment of the Far Eastern Federal University and its structure. Along with a description of the experience in building of e-learning content based on LMS this article presents historical facts of forming the informational environment in the university. It was shown that a necessary condition for the formation of the international educational space in the Asia-Pacific region is not only determined by the presence of the university experience in the field of information technology and appropriate innovation level, but also by the presence of a well-developed sector of engineering and science education.

Abstract: This article justifies the necessity of organization of goal-oriented activity in teaching physics to first-year students of engineering majors. It was shown that creation of conditions for the formation of motives helps students proceed to the scientific level of mental reflection adequate to the requirements of university training. The article provides examples of the organization of groups competitions when establishing personal and collective responsibility.
