Abstract: This paper presents a theoretical method to analyze the load bearing capability under cyclic axial compression load. The relationship between axial force and vertical deflection of I-shaped column is obtained by theoretical analysis and derivation. To verify the method and formulas of the paper, an illustrative example column is analyzed by the presented theoretical method and FEM to discuss the deflection performance and load bearing capability. The comparison of the results indicates perfect match between theoretical and numerical ones. It is shown that the theoretical analysis is feasible and reasonable.

Abstract: If the wear and the replace frequency of rubber platen rollers of PROTOS1-8 Cigarette Machine can be reduce, easily lead to the stable of the force of paper feed and reducing the time of maintenance and spare parts consumption. However, there is no a new device for adjusting pressure of platen rollers. To solve this problem, a new type of device for adjusting pressure of platen rollers is designed. The three movable reference wheels used to test and adjust the gap instead of the reference plane. Application results shows that using the new device can effectively solve the excessive wear of the rubber platen roller. The amount of rubber rollers for replacing is reduced to 6 compare of 22 before and the maintenance time is reduced to 19 hours compare of 115 hours before during the statistical time. It also improve the operating efficiency of this type of equipment.

Abstract: In allusion to the characteristic of stamping moulds fatigue analysis, the nodal stress result is obtained by the numerical simulation of punching with the explicit dynamic software called ANSYS/LS-DYNA. Then the fatigue life of punch about the different surface treatments is calculated by ANSYS-Fatigue tool. Through this way an effective method that is suitable for the calculation and reasonable improvement of stamping moulds fatigue life is obtained.

Abstract: For the leakage problem caused by geomembrane defect, the unstable saturated-unsaturated seepage theory and Galerkin finite element method have been adopted. So a three-dimensional finite element numerical model of an earth-rock dam with geomembrane anti-seepage system is simulated by the unstable saturated-unsaturated seepage finite element method. The influnence on seepage field for the varying degrees of geomembrane damage is analyzed, and the overall and local seepage field characteristics of the dam for geomembrane defect leakage are discussed. The results show that the numerical method provides an effective way to study the leakage problem of geomembrane defect.

Abstract: A hot roll forming process of GH4169 alloy complex sections described in this paper is a new forming process of GH4169 alloy sections. The rolling 6o, 7o, 8o pass and rectangular, wedge-shaped, irregular blank are designed. Rolling models has been developed using the rigid-plastic finite element method on DEFORM. The rolling force and pass fullness and the distribution of various field-variables such as temperature and effective strain can be obtained from the simulated result. The finally optimizing rolling process shows that the pass slopes with 6o on the roll, the cross-section of the blank is irregular, and the rolling processes are using one pass to do two passes rolling through changing the value of the roll gauge. The simulated results show the temperature of the workpiece is about 1030~1080°C, the inner temperature is greater than the surface temperature, the surface temperature is minimum, and the effective strain is about 0.3~2, which meet the requirement of the GH4169 alloy structure property, and they are significance to the other hot roll forming process of GH4169 alloy sections.

Abstract: Survival analysis , can be used to estimate the durability life of the material structure. In this paper, we study a general class of additive-multiplicative model with accelerated hazard factor for survival data. This general class model includes some popular classes of models as subclasses, and may provide a tool to choose model more appropriate for a given data set. Finally, a parameter estimation of the material life model is obtained.

Abstract: This paper simulated the microvibration response of a micro-electronic workshop by using the finite element analysis software Sap2000. Based on the measured vibration signals as input data at the base, the displacement and velocity curves at some typical points on the work platform of a micro-electronic workshop under uniform and multipoint excitation were obtained. The results show that displacement responses at nodes of beams or in the direction of lower stiffness under multipoint excitation are much greater than those under uniform excitation, while there are no marked difference in the peak values of velocities.

Abstract: In this paper, the mathematical model of eccentric follower cam contour and pressure angle was obtained from theoretical calculation, formulated the program diagram, and used MATLAB programming to realize the theoretical calculation. Through the analysis to influence of the base circle radius, eccentricity and lift angle to the maximum pressure angle of cam, proving that the maximum pressure angle could be controlled by the method of cam contour modeling based on MATLAB programming, and this method could realize the precise control to the maximum angle.
