Abstract:

Facing the international trend for pursuit of sustainable development in 21st century, and the high performance nanocoating that is environment protective and sustainable become the new trend of building materials. This study focused on the features of nanomaterials in domains such as the integration of construction management, material science and nanotechnology in order to improve the hydrophobic property of the current architectural coatings, to enhance the performance of the building and to develop the water-proof coating that is friendly to the environments.
