Measurement and Analysis of Infrasound Wave in the Process of Low Carbon Steel Damage

Article Preview

The method of measuring infrasound wave in the process of low carbon steel damage is presented. The test program is designed, which applies infrasound wave microphone and data acquisition, and the infrasound signal is collected and analyzed. The result of test and spectrum analysis confirmed that in the stages of low carbon steel damage course, including elastic stage, yield stage and strengthen stage, about 2Hz infrasound wave signal is radiated.
