As a large mass of applications of Li-ion batteries, the cathode materials of its component parts must meet to suitable performance demands and available and cheaper supply of resources.
Conclusion In this paper, LiMn2O4 and Li1.1Mn1.805Al0.095O4 cathode materials for Li-ion battery were synthesized via a co-precipitation route, all as-prepared materials took a cubic spinel structure of LiMn2O4 (Fd3m).It is found that Li , Al co-substitution does not change neither the phase structures, nor does not create newer phase transition upon charge/discharge cycling.
