Authors: Jatinder Kumar, Balbir Singh, Sudhir Kumar
Metal matrix composites are widely used in industries due to improved properties such as high strength/weight ratio, corrosion and wear resistance.
Higher setting of current and pulse on time were reported significant factors to achieve higher MRR, TWR and SR [6].
Experimentation Al alloy 6061/10% wt SiCp composite was fabricated through mechanical stir casting process.
After deleting the non significant process parameters, RSM based mathematical models for the MRR and TWR are reprsented by Eq.1 and Eq.2 in terms of actual factors.
Conclusions · Current, pulse on time, pulse off time and voltage are affecting MRR significantly whereas for TWR, current, pulse on time and pulse off time are significant factors

The results show that: chamfer height size affected the two-side direction burr’s size significantly and the influence of chamfer degree α is general.
Introduction The grinding-hardening is a new technology that utilizes the heat and mechanical composite effect induced in grinding to quench the surface of steel directly.
It realizes the integrated manufacturing of grinding and surface hardening and has wide application prospects in the field of grinding machine and improving surface properties of metal material[1-2].
Owing to Fav is bigger than19.0,so that grinding parameter apvw is highly significant factor to effect the burr’s size; meanwhile, Fh is bigger than 9.0, so chamfer height h is general significant factor to effect the burr’s size; and chamfer degree α is insignificant factor.
But the chamfer area could not be filled with the burr formed in grinding-hardening machine, so it should choose the parameter as follow: ap=0.2mm, vw=0.2m/min, h =1.0mm and α=20 o Conclusions While chamfer the workpiece, among all factors that effectted the burr’s size, grinding parameter apvw and chamfer height are highly significant factor and chamfer degree α is general significant factor.

Introduction
Nanohardness (HIT) and elastic modulus (EIT) are among the most crucial mechanical properties in thin coating evaluation.
Hardness data may be strongly influenced by external and internal factors: deposition parametres, microstructure and residual stresses (σr) presented in thin coatings.
Obviously, thickness is among the most important parameter affecting the level of the intrinsic stresses [4].
Mechanical and Tribological Properties of HiPIMS and HiTUS W – C coatings.
Effect of annealing on microstructure and mechanical properties of laser deposited Co – 285 + WC coatings.

Frost resistance of ceramic products is an important factor in the procedure of ceramic
roofing tiles durability prediction.
This property depends on many factors: raw material characteristics, processing parameters and environmental conditions (temperature fluctuation and moisture content).
This paper is focused on the influence of vacuum value of the extruder and the speed of extruded column on the properties of the final products ( plain biber tiles).
The total porosity, pore structure and pore size distribution are important factors which influence the durability of ceramic roofing tiles.

The influence of rare earth Y addition and ageing treatment on the properties and
precipitation morphology of Cu-Cr-Ti alloy was investigated.
Batawi et al [3] found that the addition of Zr, Mg and Si can affect the morphology of Cr precipitation.
Although it is reported that rare earth elements can improve the properties of copper alloys [6], their mechanisms are still obscure.
The solute atom is the key factor to affect electron transmission, thus influencing the electrical conductivity of copper alloys.
The integral effect of the above factors results in a slight decrease in the electrical conductivity for Cu-0.3Cr-0.2Ti-0.1Y alloy.

Rainfall is a significant factor leading to failure of tailings dams.
Consequently, at the end of rainfall, the maximum depth affected under the grassed surface is larger than that under the bare surface by about one third to one half.
The above mentioned effects make the rainfall infiltrates into soil mass faster and then cause deeper depths affected.
Raindrop and surface runoff are two main factors contributing to surface erosion.
Furthermore, the improvements on mechanical properties provided by the vegetation can enhance the stability of the tailings dam [13].

This paper aims to make a contribution to the understanding of the wear mechanisms of the abrasive belt and its influence factors.
The actual grinding depth is influenced by elastic deformation of contact roller and belt, abrasive wear, blade and machine tool stiffness and other factors.
The physical relationship of grinding process is difficult to be precisely described because there are many factors influence surface roughness [7,8].
(a) a’p=0.3mm (b) a’p=0.6mm (c) a’p=0.9mm Fig.7 Surface wear topography in different theoretical grinding depth Conclusions (1)To study the factors affecting grinding accuracy in the process of grinding blades, the theoretical model of belt grinding accuracy was established
It has revealed that the combination properties are superior to zirconia.

It is believed that the supramolecular structure is responsible for physical properties, the microstructure for mechanical properties, and the macrostructure for the coke thermal stability.
The coke molecular and supramolecular structure organization and the impurities presence determine its properties as a semiconductor, which allows us to evaluate coke some properties based on its resistivity.
Both factors contribute to a decrease in the lump coke electrical resistivity.
The electrical resistivity of a coke heap depends on same parameters as for a coke piece, but additionally factors such as fractional composition, contact density between individual granules, and the contact surface area appear.

This study shows a potentially effective method to improve the mechanical property and the biological activity of calcium phosphate cement.
1.Introduction
Bone defects and damage due to aging, accident and disease, have long been challenging surgeons and affecting human health and quality of life.
The improvement of mechanical properties with the amount of curing liquid and Sr-HA fibers was be researched.
The amount of curing liquid is not only effect to the solidification time, but also to the mechanical properties of materials.
The results show that the mechanical properties of CPC could be improved by adding Sr-HA fibers.
