It is, in particular, the stiffness, the number and the arrangement of rubber bearings that is the essential factor affecting the dynamic characteristics of the articulated column system.
The designed solution allowing controlling the dynamic properties of the column system with articulated joints and elastically embedded diaphragms creates preconditions for controlled dynamic properties of the system offering the possibility of the system’s use under extreme conditions and situations (e.g. technical and induced seismicity, natural seismicity, etc.).
The stiffness or dynamic properties may be modified by modifying the stiffness of the connecting bearings of the diaphragm and cross bars.
Mechanical properties of rubber.

Introduction As the “green” structure material for the 21st century, magnesium alloys possess the superiority in terms of reducing energy consumption, increasing the energy efficiency, lessening the pollution with the advantage of light, specific mechanical properties, good damping etc.
But magnesium alloys with low melting point, high linear expansion coefficient and high thermal conductivity, resulting magnesium alloys in welding process susceptible to oxidation, hot crack and wide HAZ, it is difficult to match the welding joints and parent material properties[1,3].
Due to the chemical properties of magnesium alloy is more lively, welding must be completed within 3 hours after clean-up.
Affected by welding stress, low melting point eutectic is easy to crack , forming hot cracks.
In order to reduce welding stress, thereby reducing the generation of welding hot cracks, metallurgy and technology factors should be considered.

Introduction As crack resistance, shear strength, torsional strength, shrinkage stress and bond properties of concrete members are relevant to tensile strength, tensile strength becomes a basic strength index of concrete and the basis of its mechanical properties which also has vital theoretical significance both for establishing strength criterion of concrete under multi-axial stress states and for analyzing its brittleness.
Eccentricity and stress concentration are the main affect factors for uniform uniaxial tensile strength test of concrete [1].
According to ‘Standard for method of mixture properties on ordinary concrete’ (GB/T 50080-2002) [3] and ‘Standard for method of mechanical properties on ordinary concrete’ (GB/T 50080-2002) [4] , concrete slump was tested.

Introduction One of the factors to increase efficiency of a blast furnace is by a cost reduction of cast-iron production by an extension of equipment service life.
In general, titanium-containing components having high melting properties are present in such additives.
These two factors create contradictory requirements to the interpolation algorithm.
To solve this problem, a notion of effective heat conductivity factor reflecting the indicated factors is entered into the mathematical model.

The combination of parameters followed the preset design of experiment of the three factors (i.e., temperature, feed rate, and spinning speed) with two levels (i.e., low and high) for each factor.
Combination of factor and level in the spinning process Sample No.
Hardness and microstructure of the spinned tube head were similar to those of initial steel sheet, indicating inner parts of the wall were not affected by the cold spinning process.

By varying the duration and rate of milling the properties of ferrites can be changed. 2.
Results and discussion 3.1 Effects of SHI induced defects on electrical and magnetic properties Researchers have reported several works where the ion beams significantly and remarkably tuned the properties of materials.
Hysteresis loops are sensitive to the presence of defects in the lattice and hence heavy ion irradiation can adversely affect this property.
In this context, it should be mentioned that impurity doping and mechanical milling in powdered ferrite samples have also shown efficient progress in changing the properties of ferrites.
