The XRD results of pure and Zn doped LiNiPO4 sample authenticate the orthorhombic crystal structure with high crystalline nature.
Structure and morphology of the powders are characterized using X-ray powder diffractometry, scanning electron microscopy and Raman scattering.
From the spectra, it is confirmed that the samples show the olivine structure indexed by orthorhombic pnma space group.

The structure of the synthesized HA modified SA have been studied using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy.
However, studies show that silicate ions are not easily positioned into the HA structure and they are displaced out from the apatite structure in the presence of CO32- in the medium [4,12].
In this way, the structure of HAESA does not collapse and the HA retains its original structure.
