Keywords: TBC, atmospheric plasma spray, internal combustion engines valve.
In this article we analysed the microstructural aspects of some coatings obtained from powders with thermal barrier role on specific materials for internal combustion engines valves.
There were used as substrate samples of low alloy steels with Si and high alloyed steels with Cr, Ni and Mn, which are specific materials for the discs of the intake or exhaust valves.
We can conclude that it is possible to increase the service time of the valve discs using TBC`s, starting from the properties provided by the commercial usual materials.

The PHP is made up of brass material with an inner diameter of 1.95mm, with a total length of 1150 mm for different fill ratios (FR) was employed .The PHP is tested for the thermal resistance and the heat transfer coefficient.
The experimental results on three turn closed loop PHP with brass material shows a better performance.

PCD tools, especially curve edge PCD compound tools are used widely in machining
nonferrous and non-metal materials with high efficiency and precision because of their excellent
cutting properties.
Instead of using the mechanical force to break the diamond, the wire EDG uses the thermal energy or electrical sparks between a thin, traveling wire to remove materials [2].

The range of application of capacitive sensors is extraordinary,
for example, there are some literatures about measurement of moisture content in some materials by
capacitive sensors, see[1,2,3,4].
Single planar capacitance sensor is one of high-precision equipment, which is used to measure the moisture content in some materials.
However, it should be noted that in the current state of research common applications of planar capacitance sensor for monitoring moisture content in all woody materials regardless of their type are not possible yet.
For instance, formulas commonly used in wood block moisture monitoring are mostly not suitable for erose materials.

In order to
evaluate the applicability of these materials, a spare tyre compartment cover of a passenger car was
investigated to compare with the properties of the fabricated materials.
The mechanical properties of the above materials are tested.
