The typical structure of oxide scale has been extensively reported to be hematite sitting on magnetite and wüstite respectively [2,3].
The eutectoid structure of layered-structure of iron and magnetite, similar to the Fig. 1 (right), has been recently reported [7].
Scale produced by the coiling temperature of 560 °C, which was lower than eutectoid structure, consisted of magnetite with the small amount of iron.
It also changed the scale structure from the eutectoid structure of magnetite and iron to be magnetite with a slight amount of iron.
