Introduction Joining is critical to the fabrication of structures and devices for use in aerospace, biomedical, chemical, electronic, mining, and other applications.
Joining also has the potential to allow repair of damaged structures through the replacement of defective components, thereby extending assembly lifetimes, and permitting the reuse of costly nonrecyclable components, e.g., fiber-reinforced materials.
Components can be temperature-sensitive due to extremely fine-scale structures (e.g., dispersionhardened alloys and other nanoscale microstructures) that degrade or coarsen during high temperature exposure, or due to components that decompose or degrade above specific threshold temperatures (e.g., glassy metals and polycrystalline diamond coatings).
Diffusion of the cladding material into the core layer and counterdiffusion of alloying elements in the core layer will eventually homogenize the interlayer, and can bring to the interlayer/ceramic interface elements that affect the interfacial chemistry and adhesion.

Metal organic frameworks (MOFs) were an emerging class of microporous materials, which had high surface area, good thermal stability, uniform structured nanoscale cavities and the availability of in-pore functionality and outer-surface modification.
Results and Discussion Characterization of the Coordination Polymer Powder To obtain the structure information of this metal-organic compound, the results of the X-ray powder diffraction were compared with the standard data from PCPDFWIN software.

Introduction Among the various types of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4 or LFP) is poised to become one of the most widely used cell chemistry types in electric vehicles (EVs) due to its thermal stability, reliability, low cost, safety, and long cycle life [1–3].
Hence, the key to effectively regenerate LFP is to dose Li ions into the crystal structure and reduce Fe3+ to Fe2+.
The bands at 471 and 500 cm-1 can be attributed to the translational vibrations of Li ions near neighboring oxygen atoms in the olivine LiFePO4 structure [20].
Furthermore, in the XRD patterns of re-lithiated LFP at 180 °C for 5 h, the peaks corresponding to the plane reflections of the olivine structure were observed, without any impurity peaks.
Structural and compositional analyses, including XRD, FTIR, SEM, EDS, and ICP-OES, confirmed the effective restoration of the LFP crystal structure and lithium content.

It was show that compact substrate and weak interface enhance the strength, and porous structure improvesthe dielectric performance of the composite.
The polyborosilazane (PBSZ) and polyborazine (both from Institution of Chemistry Chinese Academy of Science) are used as the precursor of ceramic matrix and coating, respectively.
It can be seen from Fig. 8(c) that the composite has porous structure with an apparent porosity of 20% (by Archimedes law) and a density of 1.97.
Compact substrate (Fig. 8(d)) enhances strength and porous structure improves dielectric performance of the composite.
(3) The composite is uniform and compact without vital defects and cracks, and has a porous structure with a apparent porosity of 20%

SEM showed that the PU foams exhibited a spherical open-cell structure, with cell sizes increasing at higher EPO ratios.
The PU foams exhibit a spherical open-cell structure.
However, PU foam with an EPO:Tween20 ratio of 50:50 exhibits a more pronounced open-cell structure.
SEM images revealed that the PU foams exhibited a spherical open-cell structure, with cell sizes increasing at higher EPO ratios.

It can be seen from them that the surface of particles in roasted products is rough and the structure of particles is loose.
It indicates that under alkali conditions, with increasing temperature, the intact structure of minerals in the shale is broken down gradually.
NaOH can react with the minerals such as quartz, potassium feldspar and muscovite in the sample by roasting to make crystalline structure in them broken down to a certain extent.
Qi et al. (2004) believes that when the silicate and aluminosilicate are roasted with alkali, with increasing temperature, solid phase reaction is faster and the skeletal structure of Si and Al is broken down.

Coating structure was investigated using XRD.
By applying heat treatment, structure of the coating changes from amorphous structure to crystalline.
But unfortunately up to date, only limited investigations have been conducted on the effects of heat treatment and nanocrystallined structure on corrosion properties of Ni-B-W coatings.
At this temperature, the phase transformation from amorphous to a crystalline structure is detected.

A small-scale pore structure (micropore) was also formed in the scaffold.
Beeswax is a substance that forms the structure of a honeycomb.
Such functional groups were formed when carbonate ions replace phosphate ions in the hydroxyapatite structure.
Micropore structure has a role in increasing scaffold permeability and facilitating cell migration.
Micropore structure has a significant role in the interaction between small molecules and proteins and in the mechanical properties of substrates at the cellular level.

CDs have a structure like graphite rich in functional groups on its surface.
The structure and functional groups of the obtained CDs were verified using FTIR and XRD spectroscopy.
Fluorescence spectra of CDs with variations in the concentration of hydrogen peroxide 0; 1; 3; 5; 7 wt.% Structure of CDs.
The structure of CDs obtained using 5 wt.% hydrogen peroxide concentration was confirmed using FTIR and XRD spectroscopy.
There are also diffraction patterns in the (111) and (100) planes, showing that CDs have a graphite structure.
