And the mechanical demolition makes it difficult to keep waste bricks in good shape to recycle as building block.
And improved use of RCA in asphalt pavement is unattainable without the thorough understanding of some of the basic material properties like the specific gravity.
Nevertheless, it is believed that, in combination with the virgin aggregate (VA), the VA-RCA aggregate blend will possess adequate properties for asphalt mixture.
And these measured properties are within the acceptable recommended limits [16].
Apart from economic and technical factors, concerns over the recycling of C&D wastes in asphalt pavement also come from their potential of causing environmental burdens in road structures, such as run-off pollutants and leaching [30, 31].

Biodiesel B10 – An Alternative Fuel for Diesel Pick-up Trucks Tongchit Suthisripok1,a and Teerasak Ruechakiatdtikun2,b 1and 2Automotive Engineering, Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, College of Engineering, Rangsit University, Thailand atongchit.s@rsu.ac.th bR.teerasak@hotmail.co.th Keywords: biodiesel, B10, alternative fuel, diesel pick-up truck, fuel nozzle injector Abstract.
Though biodiesel has similar properties to diesel and is environmental friendly fuel, diesel fuel whose price is heavily subsidized becomes more attractive.
The two most important factors which play a primary role in the diesel combustion process are the inducted charge air and the injected fuel’s atomization meaning spray penetration, temperature, and chemical characteristics.
It is therefore to realize that the combustion system of the diesel engine includes any part, component, or system that may affect the final outcome of the combustion process.
Since the fuel nozzle injector was an important factor for providing fine and evenly fuel spray into the cylinder; at the same fuel pump pressure 180 kgf/cm2, the 5-hole nozzle was used in place of the original 4-hole one so to ease the injection pressure drop of more viscous fuel, biodiesel B10.

In addition to the variables shown in the diagram, the function of the sealing system is also dependent on temperature, the sealing materials, the respective media to be sealed, the operating mode, the shaft dia- Figure 3: Exemplary p-v-threshold diagram diameter, geometry and surface properties of the mating surface as well as the housing groove [3, 6].
Adding a safety factor, the motor was dimensioned provisional to 55 kW.
Above and beyond, three grooves for the rotor seals, which will affect the stability of the structure, are geometrical part of the pressure chamber (compare with Fig. 5).
Moreover, the surface properties of the ring can be modified individually by several surface finishing processes for the research.
For the material selection the safety factor SF is set to 2, giving required minimum yield strength of 266 N/mm² at an elevated temperature of 120 °C.

Results showed that carbon nanotube reinforcement enhanced the composite's mechanical properties, improving its ability to absorb energy and ballistic penetration resistance.
Amongst this, 296,152 cases are related to army personnel, 70,488 cases are related to navy personnel, 71,338 cases affect the air force, and 71,499 cases are connected to marine personnel [3].
The fabric composite was assigned orthotropic elastic material properties using the MAT_002_Orthotropic_Elastic material model from the LS-Dyna® material library.
Table 1 presents the material properties assigned to the fabric composite for the current study, whereas Table 2 presents the 9 mm FMJ bullet properties.

Studies show that the effect of traveling wave effect on the structural dynamic response is multifaceted, due to the nature of the reciprocating motion of the shock , when considering the traveling wave effect , subject to the incentive structures in different locations may be the opposite direction , causing an earthquake component structure of mutually different locations constraints or offset , and thus the internal force and deformation of the structure part of the region 's favorable , on the part of regional disadvantage ; depending on the velocity of seismic waves are traveling effect sizes decisive factor , in general , the lower depending on the velocity of seismic waves traveling wave effect is more significant with the visual velocity increases, the impact of traveling wave effect is gradually reduced , consistent with the results of the structural response tends to be motivated .
The expansion joint used Combin40 gap element to simulate, and the sliding limit is set to zero in order to close the sliding function, and its mechanical model is simplified to a gap, a linear spring and a continuous and viscous damping.
Due to the uncertainty of the direction of seismic wave propagation ,proximal, distal is relative, anywhere in the structure may be affected by the traveling wave effects.
The seismic response in expansion joints is most affected by the traveling wave effect, when the apparent wave velocity is smaller, the relative displacement and the collision force increase significantly, far more than consistent incentive effect.Under the uniform excitation, the displacement of expansion joints at both ends is basically the fundamental harmonic vibration characteristics, because of the rubber buffer block at the end of the beam, When the displacement of the beam end close to each other is larger than the gap,the resistance is larger; When one beam end is away from the other, the resistance is smaller, so when the displacement of one beam end near the other is more than 4 cm, the characteristics of the "peak" will appear. The smaller the apparent wave velocity is, the farther the displacement of joints close to each other and away from each other at both ends is, the greater the collision force at the end of the beam is, so it is easy for expansion joints to damage.

Sustainable High Speed Dry Cutting of Magnesium Alloys Yuebin Guo1,a and Zhanqiang Liu2,b 1Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL 35487, USA 2Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, Shandong University, Jinan, Shandong 250061, China ayguo@eng.ua.edu, bmelius@sdu.edu.cn Keywords: Magnesium alloy, high speed machining, dry cutting, sustainability.
This study aims to characterize and model dynamic mechanical behavior of the biodegradable Mg-Ca alloys under cutting regimes.
Nevertheless, the found set of material constants always represents the material properties with an acceptable accuracy.
Cutting forces are affected by two opposing mechanisms during cutting process: work hardening and thermal softening.
There are two factors which should be considered in studying these contour plots: the size of the area covered with certain temperature and the temperature itself.

The specific capacitance of EDLCs hinges upon factors such as surface area, electrolyte composition, and the distribution of pore sizes within the activated carbon [4].
The energy provided by microwaves certainly affects the synthesized materials.
Closer proximity of the curve to a 90º angle signifies enhanced capacitive properties of the material [12].
This indicates that Composite-30 exhibits superior capacitive properties compared to Composite-45 and Composite-60.
