The effect of maleic anhydride concentration and type of raw materials were investigated.
Experimental 2.1 Materials The natural rubber (STR5L) and the skim rubber block were donated by the Rubber Estate Organization, Thailand.
FTIR spectra of theses raw materials are shown in Figure 2.

These types of
high surface area materials hold tremendous untapped potential in micro-total analysis systems,
micro-reaction technology and clean energy systems.
Also, monolithic materials are considered as novel materials for the generation of stationary phases in the separation science because of their easy preparation, excellent flow properties and high performances when compared with conventional packed beds [13-16].
