The chemical composition of steel slag is stable, but the f-CaO contained in the steel slag will be subject to digestion reaction after water sucking and the volume after digestion is expanded by one time, besides, the compact-grain of f-CaO structure contained in steel slag is big, the crystal lattice is tight and the speed of natural digestion is low, and those are all main factors influencing the road application performance of the steel slag [2].
