It is deduced that if the barrier layer was removed by using electrochemical deposition which can deposit metals or other semiconducting materials (CdSe, CdTe, etc.) into the nanotubes [6].

InGaAs is direct and narrow bandgap material with ultrahigh electron mobility, and is a promising candidate for optoelectronic device in the near-infrared region.
The designed InGaAs NWs semiconductor device could be radiation hard when compared with other material and its bulk counterpart[9].
With that success of engineering the surface Plasmon polariton by format the dielectric materials and metal within the NWs, this technology could achieve highly efficient photodetector sand dramatically reducing reverse biases with smaller dimension.
