The main reason for not carrying on much spectral studies of Sm3+ ions doped in glasses is the [6] complicated structure of 4f6 configuration of this ion.

Wang et al. [96] studied soft chemistry route prepared Cr-doped ZnO and effect of Cr doping on magnetic property of ZnO.
The crystal structures were refined using the Rietveld refinement program FULLPROF [100].
The corresponding satellite structures (S1, S2) are observed at ~860.7 and ~879.3 eV, respectively.
Rietveld analysis confirms that the samples possess wurtzite structure with no evidence of any secondary phases.

Some facts about quasicrystals
The quasi-crystalline state was detected on a quenched Al86Mn14 alloy in 1984 by Daniel Shechtman [1], who received in 2011 the Nobel Prize in chemistry for this discovery.
The structure of quenched Al86Mn14 revealed the symmetry of an icosaeder.
However, there are also a few two-element alloys with quasi-crystalline structure.

The corrosion of underground structures is a very widespread problem, Structures such as natural gas, crude oil pipelines, and water mains are only some of the many structures reported to have been affected by soil corrosion all around the world [2, 3].
In the galvanic system, the metallic structure is made the cathode (negative) by connecting it to galvanic anodes, which are more negative than the metallic structure to be protected.
The electrons released pass through the metallic connection between anode and steel, and thus enter the structure to be protected.
Potential: the potential of anode must be more negative value than the structure potential. 2.
This behavior is attributed to the presence of Sn as an alloying element leading to electrochemical activity of alloy due to modification in the chemistry of the film leading to the active dissolution of Al [15].

The structures of pristine nanoceramics and each nanoceramic-biomolecular nanohybrid are
displayed in Fig. 1.
Fig. 1 (A) shows the structure of pristine nanoceramics, LDHs or clay.
The layer structure of LDHs is constructed with a stacking of brucite structure of Mg(OH)2 in which Mg(OH)6 octahedra are connected through edge sharing into 2-dimensional sheets with layer thickness of 4.8 .
Thus LDHs are widely applicable to various supramolecular structure or heterogeneous hybrid systems.
(A) structure of pristine (a) layered double hydroxide (LDH) and (b) clay (B) schematic diagram of nanoceramic-biomolecular nanohybrids (a) ATP-LDH, (b) FITC-LDH, (c) As-myc-LDH, (d) MTX-LDH and (e) itraconazole-clay The structure of pristine LDH and montmorillonite is demonstrated in Fig. 1(A), showing 4.8 and 9.3 Å of layer thickness.
