In order to give full play to the performance of RAC, the CAVF method was applied to design the aggregate gradation to ensure the RAC’s stone skeleton structure, and the Marshall test for determining the OARAR according to Standard Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixtures for Highway Engineering (JTJ 052-2000) was carried out in this study.
Properties of aggregates were specified according to Test Methods of Aggregates for Highway Engineering (JTGE42-2005) in China.
The preparation and test procedure were in accordance with Standard Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixtures for Highway Engineering(JTJ 052-2000).
