Mohtadi-Bonab et al. [28-29] investigated the various factors affecting fatigue crack growth in pipeline steels.
On the other hand, tensile tests showed anisotropic behavior for Yield Strength (YS) and elongation (%EL) properties.
Figure 4 shows YS and %EL values, reported in literature for low strength API 5L steels, similar to the one used in this experimentation.
In addition, from the fatigue data reported by Hong et al. [41], the B exponent was estimated for comparison purposes.
