Introduction
Engineering structures are designed to withstand in excess of the dynamic and static loads they may
be expected to experience during their life spans.
Lighting columns, whilst modest in many ways compared to some large and costly civil and aerospace structures, pose a real threat to personal injury [1].

Abstract.
The application field have been gradually broadened through the combination of the short fibre reinforcements (SF) with warm pressing technique for CFRP green body, which represented a remarkable turning point in the development of C/C-SiC to economically produce components for civil and automotive application such as brake pads and brake discs [5].
