The engineering character of unsaturated soil is closely related to matric suction [1], and soil-water characteristic curve reflects the relationship between matric suction, water content and the ability of keeping water.
Engineering practices indicate that the kind of mixed soil is always unsaturated in natural conditions.
Examinations of the kind of soil have theoretical and practical significance for dealing with practical engineering problems and preventing from geological hazards.
