The composite material properties can be determined by testing the elastic properties and strength of the constituent fiber and matrix materials.

The model takes into account the possibility of increasing the gap between solid magnetic materials of the structure, inside them which the magnetorheological fluid is placed.
This type of fluids can change their viscoelastic properties under the influence of external magnetic fields and refers to so-called semi-active “smart” materials.
