Previous work on Ni/Al– and Co/Al–LDHs synthesized by co-precipitation technique showed higher stability for the Ni/Al-LDH compared to that of Co/Al-LDH [8].

In 2003, on the basis of the studies of Hu et al.[12], Xu et al.[20] adopted an stepwise nonlinear programming method to solve the optimization problem of water-using networks with multiple impurities.
In 2007, Zheng et al.[21] improved the stepwise linear programming method that proposed by Hu et al.[12], so the efficiency for solving solution was improved.

In their review of damping studies related to composites, Chandra et al. [20] noted that there is a need to study damping in terms of its effect on stress or amplitude of vibration.
