Mouritz et al. [12] report that the interlaminar toughness is an increasing function of the density of stitching.
For example, Guenon et al. [15] found that the GIc of a 3D woven carbon/epoxy composite is nearly 15 times higher than a classical 2D carbon/epoxy laminate.

Emission peak located at about 418 nm was observed in ZnO thin film or Cr-doped ZnO nanoparticles in the literatures [26-27]; emission peak at about 496 nm (2.5 eV) was discerned in ZnO thin film or Al-doped ZnO thin film [27-29].
Ding et al. proposed that the violet peak 410 nm originated from the electron transition from the bottom of conduction band to the shallow acceptor level formed by Zn vacancies[29],while Wei et al. proposed that peak at 405nm has been attributed to transition from oxygen-vacancy related shallow donor level to valence peak[30].
Wei et al. considered that the emission at 486 nm might be caused by the electronic transition from the conduction band to acceptor level of OZn[27], while Ding et al. ascribed the luminescence centered 492 nm to the electron transition from the recombination of singly ionized oxygen vacancy (VO) electron transition from Zn interstitial to Zn vacancies[29, 31].
Pal et al. indicated that the emission at pump excited holes in the valence band [32].

Low cycle fatigue experiments were carried out by Samuel et al. [6] at elevated temperatures and Siva et al. [7], Paul et al. [8] at ambient temperature.
Hong et al. [9] and Huang et al. [10] have studied a metallurgical aspect of dynamic strain aging (DSA).
This is attributed to dynamic strain aging (DSA) phenomena due to that UTS increases and %El and %RA decreases.
Samuel et al. [6] have shown that with the increase in temperature fatigue life increases up to 250oC and a further increase in temperature fatigue life goes on decreasing.
But however, according to Huang et al. [10] and Lee and Kim [13], DSA induced hardness leads to an increase in fatigue life despite the loss of ductility.
