Abstract. (2-oxo-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methyl-2-methylprop-2-enoate (DOMA) was synthesized from glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) and carbon dioxide, which can be further polymerized into water-based non-isocyanate polyurethane(NIPU).
The structure of DOMA was characterized by IR spectra, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR analysis.
A feasible synthetic method of producing DOMA using CO2 is presented hither, and the goal of green chemistry is well met.

Abstract.
Four kinds of racemes of α-methylamino acids isomer were provided by Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science.
The structure of four kind of α-methylamino acids was shown in figure 1. β-CD was purchased from Shanghai Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd.

The mechanical properties, structures, and thermal stability of these materials were not affected obviously.
Conclusion The radiation technique as a better effect, less pollutions, less dwellings, longer-term effective method, has been found to be widely applicable in the sterilization for medical biomaterials and medical devices, modifying the structure and properties of polymers.
