Introduction Composite materials have been the materials of interest for many researchers due to the various advantages that they offer compared to monolithic metal alloys.
The mechanical properties of most traditional engineering materials are sensitive to the strain rate.
These materials present brittle-like properties when high strain rates are employed in the tensile tests.

And then, the internal meso-structure images of composite materials are obtained through the digital image processing to the slice images.
Traditionally the grinding is adopted to obtain the meso-structure of composite materials.
Conclusion A finite element modeling method is proposed to improve the accuracy of the meso-structure analysis of composite materials.

Carbon nanotubes are the strongest and stiffest materials to be discovered in terms of tensile strength and elastic modulus [10-12].
Hence the total weight of nano materials in this specimen is 2grams with each 1gram of CNT and graphene.
Turning operations were carried out on two samples, namely pure copper and hybrid composite copper with 0.4% wt of nano materials.

In this study, two Mg-Zn-Gd alloys (Mg-5Zn-5Gd and Mg-5Zn-3Gd) are fabricated using high purity raw materials and by a clean melting process and subjected to immersion testing.
Experimental Procedure The two Mg-Zn-Gd alloys, Alloy 1 (Mg-5Zn-5Gd) and Alloy 2 (Mg-5Zn-3Gd) were prepared using high purity magnesium ingots and zinc granules as raw materials.
