Because of large strain, work softening has been observed in pure Al.
Harai et al [7] measured the hardness of pure Al (99.99%) after HPT.
They [8] did not find any work softening like observed in pure Al.
Edalatia et al [13] conducted HPT experiment using 99.99% purity Hf.
Bancroft, E.L.

Zhao et al. [7] explained the weld joint structure and tensile properties of the weld joint which is strongly affected by pin profile.
Hasan et al. [9] predicted the effect of unworn and worn tool geometries on the shape of the weld zone.
Liu et al. [12] developed the relationship between the tensile properties and fracture locations of the FSW joints.
Prashant et al. [19] explained that stepped- conical tool produce better strength with respect to all other three tools.
El Hadrouz, A contribution to a critical review of friction stir welding numerical simulation, J mech mater struct. (2009); 4(2):351-69

In general, the sorption experiment and oil retention capacity was designed based on methods by Dong et al. [15].
For ash content, CG produced a value of 7.80 %, not much different from the literature of 8.24% reported by Kassim et al. [8].
This finding is consistent with the finding by Kow et al. [11] in their characterisation study of bio silica from cogon grass where the carbon content was measured at 41.5 %.
This is way below the oil sorption capacity of 11-14 times found by Dong et al. [15] in their work by utilizing cattail fibre for oil sorption.

Al-Ghusain et al. showed that a 50% aerobic/50% anoxic A/A digestion daily cycle seems to be most appropriate for sewage sludge treatment with respect to nitrogen transformation and the reduction of solids.
DNA concentrations were determined using the diphenylamine colorimetric method [26] (Sun et al., 1999) with calf thymus DNA (Shanghai Sangon Biotechnology Co., Ltd., China) as the standard.
According to Garnier et al., the chemical groups identified in our study were proteins and polysaccharides[31].
