Introduction
A large amount of compounds, different in composition or chemistry stoichiometry, can be integrated synthesized/evaluated in a single thin-film library by the combinatorial material approach.
As everyone know, luminescent properties are related to complex interactions among many aspects, such as matrix composition and structure, activators, sensitizers, defects, and excitation sources, the combinatorial approach becomes a very efficient innovation for luminescent material discovery/optimization [6~9].
The chemistry stoichiometry is carried out by target choosing and deposing thickness control.

The variations of the crystal structures and thermoelectric properties of the Ru1-xRexSiy
chimney-ladder phases were studied as a function of the Re concentration.
In this study, we investigated the variations of the crystal structures and thermoelectric properties of the Ru1-xRexSiy chimney-ladder phases as a function of the Re concentration in order to elucidate the relationship between the crystal structure and thermoelectric properties.
The chimney- ladder phase MnX2n-m possesses the subcell structure composed of the M and X subcells stacking along the c-axis (Fig. 1b).

The geometric structure, band structure and density of state of pure and Ag-N, Ag-2N codoped wurtzite ZnO have been investigated by first-principles ultrasoft pseudopotential method in the generalized gradient approximation.
These structures induce fully occupied defect states above the valence-band maximum of bulk ZnO.
The calculation results show that the codoped structure Ag-N has better stability.
Fig. 3(a) shows the calculated band structure of the undoped ZnO.
