Montmorillonite (MMT) with many excellent physicochemical properties as density, high surface area, thermal stability and adjustable surface chemistry have been found as a new class of functional aerogels [14].
The V1 sponge before the addition of bentonite had a closed porous structure with no additional MMT content, whereas after the addition of bentonite the porous structure appeared more open.
Figure 8 shows that the porous structure will be closed, indicating the interaction between the sponge pores and water.

The XRD results showed single phase and hexagonal structure a = b = 3.24982 Å, and c = 5.20661 Å.
The SEM and TEM results showed the grain size of material arrangement changed after sintering and TEM diffraction pattern confirmed hexagonal crystal structure of Zn0.96Al0.02Ga0.02O after sintering.
These results appear to be the highest ZT values reported so far for bulk n-type oxide [4].The thermoelectric properties and stability of Al-substituted ZnO as a potential high-temperature n-type material were studied in heating-cooling cycles.Zn1-x-yAlxGayO (0.02 ≤ x ≤ 0.04, 0 ≤y ≤0.05) was prepared by soft chemistry and solid state reaction synthesis methods [5].
The Zn0.96Al0.02 Ga0.02O formed hexagonal crystalline structure.
Results obtained shows single phase, hexagonal structure, small powder size, high density and, vicker hardness.
