Introduction
It is known that all engineering materials can be treated as heterogeneous.
Therein, material heterogeneity plays a major role, because almost all materials are heterogeneous and anisotropic due to their natural structure.
The research has been carried out within the project “Multiscale Numerical Modeling of Material Deformation Responses from Macro- to Nanolevel” (Croatian Science Foundation, 2516).

Abstract: The hydrated character of cement paste with fly ash was studied, through the methods of compressive strength, non-evaporable water content, reaction degree of fly ash and micro-analysis.

For slope risk analysis of tailings dam, the current research focuses on treating physical and mechanical parameters of tailing materials as the basic random variables.
It makes most engineering variables as random quantity and reliability index or failure probability is attained to design or check structure. [1] Reliability analysis of the tailings dam has been more research, but almost all treat physical and mechanical parameters of tailing materials as the basic random variables, such as shear index, and unit weight.
The material parameters are shown in Table 1.
