The crystal structure of BaFe12O19 has been studied for the first time by Townes et al. [92] and refined by Obradors et al. [93].
The Gibbs energy of formation of BaFe12O19 has been determined by Pouillard et al
[123] using static manometric technique, Deo et al. [124] by solid-state galvanic cell using BaF2 electrolyte, Li et al. [125] by oxygen coulometric titration and Rakshit et al. [126] by solid-state electrochemical cell with CaF2 electrolyte.

Haga et al. [68], for instance, showed that the small size of primary α-Al, depending on the SSM processing method used, can increase the elongation to fracture up to the 18%.
Review about the fatigue resistance of Al SSM alloy can be found in the literature [15].

The growing of compound layer and diffusion zone is connected with the precipitation of Al-ions and V-ions into unsaturated matrix.
However, based on this x-ray elemental mapping, V is reduced but still present in the compound layer (Fig. 6(d)), whereas Al (Fig. 6(c)) showed a negligible presence.
A clear boundary between the compound and the diffusion layer can be seen in Fig. 7(b), as reported earlier [32], and underneath the compound layer is the diffusion zone that consists of an interstitial solution of nitrogen in the α-Ti phase (with partially diffused “impurities” Al and V).
