Up to now, Ti is mainly added into Al melt by melting Al-Ti or Al-Ti-B (Ti/B=5:1)
master alloy.
Materials and Experimental Procedure The in-situ Ti alloying of Al alloys was carried out in an 85KA prebaked cell for Al-reduction by adding some titania into electrolyte.
Two kinds of the A356 alloys with different Ti content were produced by remelting in-situ Ti alloying low-Ti Al alloys (named testing A356 alloys) and by remelting pure Al and Al-5Ti master alloys (named transition A356 alloys) respectively.
The ductility and quality index Q (Q=σb+150×log(EL.)
The restricting factors that affect the prime α-Al grain growth also have an effect on the growth of eutectic α-Al.

Internal oxidation of Ni-W alloys during high temperature oxidation has already been observed by El-Dahshan et al. [5].
This value is slightly lower than the thermo-balance based measurements of El-Dahshan et al. for similar compositions [5].
El-Dahshan et al. suggest that this columnar-like oxide may result from the evaporation of WO3 oxide in NiW alloys [5].
This result is in good agreement with electrochemical measurements by Park et al. [7] who found 9.14x10-9 cm2.s-1 in pure nickel.
