Ramalinghan et al. [4] observed that intake of copper can lead to several health conditions, such as depression, malfunctioning of kidney and liver as well as distortion of the capillaries.
The adsorbent was prepared following the method by Nnaji et al. [2].
Equations 9 – 11 showed that some individual factors had synergistic effects while others had antagonistic effects on competitive adsorption of Cu, Zn, and Cr.This conforms to the result of the previous study conducted by Adewoye et al., [50] on Cr and Ni adsorption.
This conforms to the result of previous study by Chowdhury et al., [52].

In investigations specific to 304SS, Chakraborty et al. [86], Li et al. [87], Zhang et al. [79] and Chakraborty et al. [88] demonstrated the successful deposition of WC on the alloy.
Anandan et al. [89] and Singh et al. [90] had previously reported the deposition of WC on 304SS to improve its surface properties.
In some works, the carbide was successfully deposited on L2 (93-Soltani et al., 2017), AISI 52100 (94-Fernandes et al., 2015)and AISI 1045 (95-Orjuela et al., 2014) steels..
Misra et al. [146], Huang et al. [85], and Zhao et al. [147] reported the adoption hBN as solid lubricating additive on the surface of steels.
El-Labban, Laser surface cladding of high C-Cr bearing tool steel with TiC powders, IUP J.
