Abstract: In this paper we provide an quantum determined key distribution protocol using non-orthogonal quantum states. Two parts can build a key by exchanging some qubits. The principles of quantum mechanics guarantee that the protocol is unconditionally secure. No one except the two parts can get the key. There are no entangled states and complex quantum operations except measurements needed in our protocol. So it is easier to carry out and more robust in practice.

Abstract: With the rapid development of the cities, the construction of the overpasses is increasingly common, while the safety performance of the overpasses are drawing more and more people's attention. China is a country prone to earthquakes, the seismic performance research of the overpasses would have to consider the space impact of earthquakes motion. China's current code of seismic design can not meet the seismic design requirements of the overpasses, there is not full consideration the space effects of earthquakes besides the time effects. This paper analyzes the structure bending moment of the overpasses under the traveling wave effect from the variation of the earthquakes.

Abstract: Anti-rust aluminum is widely used in aviation, aerospace, communications, as well as weapons with non-corrosion, light, and other fine characteristic. In this study, in order to improve the machined surface quality and reduce the surface roughness and find the influence of the cutting parameters on the surface roughness, a series of cutting experiments for AlMn1Cu are conducted to obtain surface roughness values in high-speed milling. According to the analysis of variance (ANOVA) of factorial experiments, the cutting parameters significantly influencing on the surface roughness were presented.

Abstract: A method using principal component analysis (PCA) of dynamic power supply current was proposed for testing of analog circuits in this paper. The basic model of the proposed method and the general rule for analog fault detection were described in detail. At first, the principal component model of fault-free circuits was constructed. Then the circuits-under-test was compared with the principal component model to calculate the statistic for fault detection. The features of power supply current in both time and frequency domain were combined by PCA, and it could overcome the difficulty to determine threshold by empirical knowledge. The proposed method was applied to detect faults of the signal filtering and amplifying circuit, which is used in the ultrasonic liquid-level sensor. The results show that the power supply current contains information about the circuit’s faults, and can be used for fault detection of analog circuits by analyzing this signal.

Abstract: In this paper, a computer vision based volume measurement system for rail tanker is proposed. Considering the complex environment, we propose an accurate identification algorithm of coded point and a precise localization algorithm. By investigating the epipolar geometry among three views, this paper develops a novel method for metric reconstruction of a scene based on the trilinear relations. Through the method of ordering incomplete scattered data presented, we construct a series of cross-section contours for a tanker and achieve a precise reconstruction of the surface of the tanker. Experiments show that, the volume measurement method for rail tanker based on computer vision can be operated with simplicity and high accuracy.

Abstract: Significant wave height is generally defined as the mean height of the highest one third of the waves in the sample and is widely regarded as an approximate equivalent to the visually observed height. Some studies assumed that wave heights can be described in terms of Log-normal, Generalized Gamma and Beta distribution, while others proposed Rayleigh distributions. In this paper, we wish to compare Rayleigh distribution with those obtained using two-parameter Weibull distributions. Both Rayleigh and Weibull distributions are used to fit the empirical data obtained from the world's oceans Global Wave Statistics. The Rayleigh distribution parameter is estimated using Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) while, for the two-parameter Weibull distribution, parameter values are obtained using Maximum Likelihood Estimation and Quantile Estimation (QE). A Chi-square goodness of fit test is then used to see how the fitted distributions compare with the empirical distribution. It is found that Weibull distributions are better fits than the Rayleigh distribution, and that the MLE estimation is the best in this respect.

Abstract: Among the four methods (minimum zone sphere, minimum circumscribed sphere, maximum inscribed sphere, and least square sphere), only the minimum zone sphere complies with ANSI and ISO standards and has the minimum sphericity error value. Evaluation of sphericity error is formulated as a non-differentiable unconstrained optimization problem and hard to handle. The minimum circumscribed sphere and the maximum inscribed sphere are all easily solved by iterative comparisons, so the relationship between the minimum zone sphere and the minimum circumscribed sphere, the maximum inscribed sphere is proposed to solve efficiently the minimum zone problem. The relationship is implemented and validated with the data available in the literature.

Abstract: Railway concrete sleepers have been developed and utilized in railway industry for over 50 years. Cyclic loading because of vibration on sleepers due to the train loading and the velocity of train itself and also a small percentage of bad wheels, can eventually lead to a crack network and failure of component. The objective of this study is to investigate the load carrying capacity of the selected prestressed concrete sleepers – prepared for Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad, KTMB, under static and dynamic loading conditions. In order to determine the behavior of the railway concrete sleepers under repeated low-velocity impact load and to study the fatigue performance of railway concrete sleepers, the research efforts are required to perform comprehensive studies on the behaviors and dynamic response of these prestressed concrete sleepers. The fatigue performance of railway sleepers was investigated under constant amplitude load and compared with the actual train loading on site. For the laboratory work, the concrete sleepers were subjected to repeated low-velocity sinusoidal loads typical to loading from commuter trains only and attaining the fatigue toughness, energy absorption, and crack formations of the concrete sleepers.

Abstract: This paper describes the characteristics and shortcomings of several formulas about determining the smallest cross-sectional area in current production of nodular iron casting. Proposed a new calculate formula about minimum cross-sectional area of nodular iron casting. It is indicated being good reliability, scientific and applicability through many successful examples in production.

Abstract: This research aims to make a quality model for embedded system to consider special environment such as the development of adaptation with each system unit, work of interface between the units, and so on. For this process, we extract the attributes to fit on embedded system from DeLone and McLean’s IS model. Their model is not for embedded system but for information system. Therefore we delete and insert some attributes to correspond embedded system functions from their model. The proposed model has three qualities; system quality, information quality and operation quality in system design part, and we make the quality model to consider the relation of influence with each other.
