Abstract: It is necessary for the whole project stakeholders to improve the level of construction safety management, which includes the owner, designer, contractor, construction supervisor, government regulators and other parties. With respect to the research about construction project safety, existing literatures mainly consider about contractor, construction supervisor and other parties. However, Design stage is the key point of affecting the construction safety management and more attention should be paid. Design stage provides the basis to control the project safety risks in construction stage. Aiming to give better play for designers in construction safety management, this paper probed project safety management system, suggested the approach of designer roles in construction project safety management, analyzed the challenges if designer took part in construction safety management, and gave some countermeasures on how to take advantage of the designer in improving the level of construction safety.

Abstract: BIM technology changes the path of acquiring and transmiting information in traditional project management methods. According to classification from building SMART alliance in America, 25 kinds of applications of BIM in architecture engineering field are listed.Through analyzing parties of project management,including design enterprise, owner,building enterprise,estate management company and construction supervision institution,a conclusion is drawn that construction supervision institution is the most suitable party to popularize BIM technology. Moreover,several approaches are put forward to establish BIM technology service corporation, expand BIM consulting business by supervision institution, popularize supervision business by BIM consulting form and consolidate supervision company and BIM consulting incorporation.

Abstract: Project complexity management which plays a key role in achieving the success of the complex project management has been an important part of project management. Taking world expo AB area project as an example,this paper analyzed the degradation of project complexity based on organization optimizing by using the ProjectSim software, besides we examined the changes of the workload caused by the implicit work such as the rework, coordination and waiting process. Thus we can have a further study on the reducing of project complexity and know what it consist of in the microcosmic view, and it will provide us with some reference and significance of how to optimize the complex project synthetically.

Abstract: Design project management(DPM) takes knowledge as its capital, knowledge innovation as its productive means and the specific design project as its object so as to obtain its capability of the organization’s survival and development. But during the operation, the obtained innovation knowledge will hide in the brains of the project members to get implicit, which makes it difficult for all the members to share it together and for the organization to bring about significant results. This paper aims at introducing the knowledge management theory into design project management in order to systematically solve the transformation between implicit knowledge and explicit knowledge from the setting up of ideas, the environment building, system security and the culture construction of the organization, and hence to convert the individual’s knowledge innovation into the organization’s core competition.

Abstract: Abstract. Through analyses of the current situation of investment control in international and domestic engineering supervision companies, this paper has expounded on deficiencies in project investment control of engineering supervision companies in China and analyzed the specific tasks of investment control in engineering supervision companies at home and abroad. Furthermore, it has proposed the direction for further development of investment control tasks in engineering supervision companies in China and thus has paved way for the integration between engineering supervision companies and international engineering consulting companies, the globalization of engineering supervision companies and their development as engineering management companies with international competitiveness.

Abstract: Enterprise project management (EPM) is a new enterprise managing pattern, which organizational design of enterprise needs to fit with. The characteristics of project organization and enterprise organization are analyzed, and organizational requirement of enterprise project management are discussed. Based on these analyses, the paper puts forward organization forms of enterprise project management, and discusses how to select the enterprise project management organization (EPM organization).

Abstract: This study aims to explore cost management strategies and supporting techniques used in project alliancing. Survey results show that cost management in project alliancing has most features of target costing. More importantly, it was found that cost management in project alliancing, supported by a sophisticated risk/reward arrangement, aligns contracting parties’ interests toward the achievement of owner’s project objectives and links contracting parties’ financial pain/gain with both cost and non-cost areas of performance.

Abstract: In order to guarantee the cooperation between behavior subjects and the highest efficiency in cooperative strategy, collaborative approaches or authority ways can be taken to design the system of behavior right configuration. The key point of cooperation among construction project subjects lies in the reflecting on the individual interest of behavior subject from overall cooperation surplus. The behavior right configuration system can adjust the distribution of overall cooperation surplus to realize the cooperation and the optimal overall benefit of the construction project, and finally achieves the win-win cooperation.

Abstract: The advantages of project general contract with design as leading role were discussed, and some problems that should be noticed for design unit in the project general contract were analyzed in this paper. The disadvantages of design unit in the current project general contract market in china were pointed out. Then the reasonable suggestions aiming at some of them were stated.

Abstract: The failure or success of the PPP project depends on choosing a reasonable concessionaire.And it is particularly important.From the view of the government,the article launch a more accurate,comprehensive quantitive evaluation analysis on the basis of the characteristics of the PPP projects: construct a model to choose concessionaire of the project.Using fuzzy AHP method, we can build a model and solve it. Thus, we could get the best concessionaire and benefit all the parties.
