Abstract: This paper proposes a novel weighted-cooperative spectrum sensing scheme using clustering for cognitive radio system. We firstly classify the secondary users into a few clusters according to several existent methods, and then use cluster-head to collect the observation results come from different secondary users in the same cluster and make a cluster-decision. Considering the different distances between the clusters and the fusion center, different weightings are used to weight the cluster-decisions before combining. The simulation results show that our proposed method improve the probability of detection and reduce the probability of error.

Abstract: In the teaching of the physics experiments, the construction and application of teaching research on the virtual experiment system is a newly hot spot, which is needed to be explored in depth at all levels continuously. The core technology of virtual experiment system is the virtual instrument. Based on the specific teaching practices, this article introduces the concrete details about our experiment on Magnetic properties measurement of ferromagnetic material, which is designed and developed with the virtual instrument software LabVIEW. The preliminary research here may play an important role in the ultimate construction of a relatively integral virtual experiment series of physics.

Abstract: Cement-based material is a complex multi-scale material which is difficult to comprehend. With the simulation model, the methods and examples of multi-scale modeling of structure and performance of cement-based materials are presented based on coupled cementitious composites and structural mechanics. This paper discuss on the properties of cement-based materials as shrinkage, elasticity, durability which are carried out by numerical methods such as Finite Element Method (FEM) and eXtended FEM(XFEM).

Abstract: Bamboo is mainly a tropical and subtropical plant which is found adequate in many countries. The strength of bamboo as concrete reinforcement is much lower than steel bar reinforcement. However, one of the merits is a cheap and replenishable agricultural resource and abundantly available. Due to excellent properties like high strength to weight ratio, high tensile strength and free-cutting and processing, bamboo as a potential reinforcement material in place of steel is widely available in concrete structural elements. The present paper introduces some of the existing studies and application technology of bamboo reinforced concrete elements in building structures, such as bamboo reinforced concrete columns, beams, slabs and walls.

Abstract: Wireless Capsule Endoscopy (WCE) generates a large number of images in one examination of a patient. It is very laborious and time-consuming to detect the WCE video, and limits the wider application of WCE. It is urgent and necessary to develop an automatic and intelligent computer aided bleeding detection technique. This paper proposes the color vector similarity coefficients to measure the color similarity, and based on which, a novel algorithm is implemented to recognize the bleeding in WCE images. The novel algorithm is implemented in RGB color space, and is featured with simple computation and practicability. The experiments show the sensitivity and specificity of this algorithm are 90% and 97% respectively.

Abstract: Predicting protein location is both an important and challenging topic in molecular and cellular biology. As we all know that the location of proteins sheds light upon the function of a protein whose location was uncertain. But the success of human genome project led to a protein sequence explosion. It is in a great need to develop a computational method for fast and reliably predicting the locations of proteins according to their primary sequences. In this paper, we use composite classifier system that was formed by a set of k-nearest neighbor (K-NN) classifiers, each of which is defined in a different pseudo amino composition vector. The location of a queried protein is determined by the outcome of voting among these constituent individual classifiers. It is show through the outcome that the classifier outperformed single classifier widely used in biological literature.

Abstract: Bayesian statistics is another scientific method for statistics besides classical statistics which makes use of the prior information mixed with the sample information to draw some inferences about the posterior distributions of parameters based on the Bayesian formula. The Markov process is a random one transiting from one state to another. The models based on Markov process match well to the medical clinical practice. The medical intervention measures need to be evaluated not only the clinical effect and safety, but also their cost-utility. We study the application of evaluating the cost-utility of medical intervention measures based on analysis of Bayesian statistics and Markov model hoping for providing medical decision-making reference.

Abstract: Momordica charantia L. Var. abbreviata Ser. protein hydrolysates (MCPH) were prepared by enzymatic hydrolysis using Alcalase 2.4L. The acute hypoglycemic effect of MCPH at different degree of hydrolysis (DH) was investigated in alloxan-induced diabetic mice. The result showed the MCPH at 11% DH had the highest hypoglycemic effect. In the long-term study, repeated oral administration of MCPH at 11% DH for 28 days significantly reduced the fasting blood glucose (FBG) level, serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-c) levels in diabetic mice. At the same time, MCPH markedly increased body weight, serum high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-c) after 28 days of treatment.

Abstract: CuAz preservative is a new kind of wood preservative product with high efficient and low toxicity. In order to study antibacterial mechanism of CuAz preservative on white rot fungi, the form toxicological action of preservatives on the wood decay fungi and effect on fungi protein are examined in this paper. The results show that binding forms of toxicological role and protein electrophoresis has changed, we can analyze that the inhibitory role of the pharmacy which is likely to affect the pharmaceutical fungi related to the regulation of DNA synthesis gene expression. Thus prevented the protein and enzyme synthesis, so that the bacteria inhibited DNA synthesis affected the fungi cell division required certain proteins, inhibit certain normal cell growth associated protein and enzyme gene expression and the final result is cell disintegration, and even death.

Abstract: Amino acids emerged in various biochemical cycles in vivo, affecting the performance and carcass characteristics of broilers. In this study, the contents of dietary lysine and their effects on carcass performance of broiler were investigated. Experimental results showed that deficient dietary lysine significantly reduced live weight, carcass weight, eviscerated yield with gihlet (EYG) and eviscerated yield (EY) of broilers. Whereas, the percentage of slaughter yield, the percentage of eviscerated yield (PEY) and the percentage of eviscerated yield with giblet (PEG) were slightly affected. Many CpG sites were found at the myostatin exon 1 region (nucleotides 2360-2980 bp). At the myostatin exon 1 region where CpG sites enriched (nucleotides 2360-2980 bp), we found significantly lower methylation rate of 18% in low-lysine group of 55-day-old broilers, compared with methylation rate of 87% in control group, which suggested the deficient dietary lysine may lead to demethylation of their original methylated sites. In muscle tissues, the exon1 hypermethylation status of myostatin gene was detected, which was negative correlated with the expression of this gene. These results suggested that methylation of this gene was a dynamic process, which plays a dominant role in regulation of gene expression for development of individuals.
