Abstract: This review presents the difference between cement cold-recycled base and cement-stabilized new aggregate base. Old aggregate gradation is obviously beyond the prescribed limits. Due to old cement hydration products, the gradation of old mixture is not real by screening test, just called it “Fake Gradation”. The various factors of influence on pavement performances are introduced, including cement content, gradation, fine aggregates content, old material characteristic and water loss ratio. The main pavement perforamnce, such as mechanical properties, shrinkage properties and fatigue properties of cement cold-recycled mixture may not meet the requirement of high grade highways. The research topic of cement cold-recycled base is pointed out, which includes properties of old materials, the application of additives, the methods of improving pavement perforamnce and the establishment of pavement performances evaluation indexes, etc.

Abstract: This paper provides a theoretical foundation for the recycling of waste freeway lime-flyash stabilized aggregate by testing its basic character. It gives a recommended thickness for renewable lime-flyash stabilized aggregate used in the base and subbase of all levels of highway and pavement structure. It also proposes an appropriate mixture ratio of the base construction.

Abstract: Relying on the roadbed in seasonally frozen region of Harbin-Dalian passenger dedicated line,a finite element analysis model was built to study the changing rules of roadbed settlement in construction and operation. The analog and actual results were in good consistence, the model is suitable for the roadbed deformation analysis of high-speed railway in seasonally frozen regions.

Abstract: In the airport pavement design, the critical load position has the guiding significance for the airport pavement slab design. The finite element analysis model of rigid airport pavement is built, and 2-slab model and 9-slab model are analyzed. The corresponding load positions are obtained when the maximum stress and the maximum vertical displacement happen

Abstract: In the algorithm of Corner Reflector Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (CR-InSAR), the identification of Corner Reflector (CR) points in SAR images is necessary. Due to the uncertainty of traditional method in estimating the row and column information of CR, this paper presents a method for CR points’ identification, which is based on the intensity and correlation coefficient. The method has been successfully used to find the CR points in the six SAR images of the study area where the identification of CR points installed along a high way is difficult. The results show that the method presented is effective and reliable which will play important role in the deformation monitoring in highway using CR-InSAR algorithm.

Abstract: Rock roadway digging machine is generally applicable to soft mudstone, sandy mudstone roadway. When it comes to the harder rock,, the speed of digging machine construction is greatly reduced, the tool were wear seriously, the service life is substantially reduced, the tunneling cost is dramatic increased. So we must use the loose secondary blasting, to soften rocks. According to the specific circumstances of the west lane in Liuzhuang Coalmine, and proposed coal mine loose blasting technique program in keeping with construction requirements after the study, that is reasonable blast-hole depth, hole parameters, charge amount, charge structure, stemming length. Research results have a good loose blasting effect in engineering practice.

Abstract: This paper is based on majority indoor tests of recycled asphalt mixture performance. To analyze the elements which could affect different blended rates of the old material and the different mixing processes of recycled asphalt mixture by using orthogonal experiment method. The results show that, different mixing processes have significantly influenced the performance of rutting resistance on the high temperature, resistance to water damage of the recycled asphalt mixture. However blending rate of the old material has influenced more on low-temperature crack resistance of the recycled asphalt mixture. Old material blended rate is 30% and first mixing of old materials and recycling agent in a hot-melt state, by adding new complementary stone , followed by a new supplementary asphalt mineral powder mixing process to produce recycled asphalt mixture for an ideal performance.

Abstract: In this paper, based on the essential attribute of the asphalt mixture, the characteristics of the asphalt mixture creep deformation were analyzed. With the comparison of the theoretical and experimental results, the advantages and disadvantages of the common rheological models used as the reaction of asphalt mixture creep characteristics were studied. The characteristics of of the asphalt mixture deformation have been analyzed. For the accurate response of nonlinear viscous elasticity model of asphalt mixtures must be a reasonable combination of the characterization of deformation characteristics of various components, this paper reveals the rheological deformation of asphalt mixture of components and parts of correspondence with the proper models. Finally, the experimental data were given to verify the correctness of the proposed model.
