Abstract: The dynamic performance of asymmetric involute gear transmission system is analyzed by the MSC.ADAMS software during the paper. By comparative analyzed with the traditional dynamic characteristics of symmetrical involute straight gear transmission, it can be summarized that the asymmetric involute gear transmission system has better vibration characteristics in the course of transmission.

Abstract: Taking a single-rope winding hoist for example, the paper studied dynamic characteristics of mine hoisting system with single container in details. It established the dynamic mathematical models of hoisting system. Then the dynamic simulation is done in a variety of motion states in Matlab2008 by using computers. It indicates that some mechanical parameters such as the mass of sheaves and cargo, the mass ratios of them, wire rope stiffness and so on, have obvious influences on the dynamic characteristics of the system. The results provide an important reference for the dynamic design of the system.

Abstract: In this paper, drive shaft’s dynamic unbalance was calculated based on dynamic theory. The results were presented drive shaft’s dynamic balancing can be assessed by detecting the value of the unbalanced force at both ends of drive shaft. Here solidworks software was used to make an error modelling on the drive shaft. Simulation module is also applied to analyze the model. The results show the tube straightness, yoke thickness difference of flange yoke and symmetrical error of cardan shaft influence dynamic balance of drive shaft. The above findings have a guiding role in the practical production.

Abstract: Based on 3D steady and incompressible Navier-Stokes equation and standard k-ε turbulent model, numerical calculation for the aerodynamic properties of EMU (Electric Multiple Units) CRH3 (China Railway High-Speed 3)running in crosswind were carried out by finite volume method. Aerodynamic performances of EMU CRH3 were analyzed and compared, when the EMU was running in different speed and under the crosswinds of different velocity. The research showed that with the change of speed of train and crosswind, the surface pressure and aerodynamic forces altered according to a certain rule. Compared with the drag, the change of lift and lateral force caused by the increase of crosswind were more serious. When the speed of train was constant of 200km/h, 250km/h and 300km/h, the drag of train increased by 26.7%, 20.4% and 19.8% respectively as the speed of crosswind increased from 12.5m/s to 30m/s, the lift of train increased by 340.7%, 331.7% and 337.1% respectively, and the lateral force of train increases by 296.3%, 266.0% and 150.2% respectively. As the speed of crosswind increases, the increase of drag caused by the acceleration of train is more serious than lift and lateral force.

Abstract: The analysis on the basic mechanical properties of hot-rolled H-shaped steel beam under lateral impact load was done by use of ABAQUS. The reliability of the FEA model was verified through comparing with the existing experiment of H-shaped steel beam subjected to lateral impact. And then, this FEA model was used to research the dynamic response of the H-shaped steel beam subjected to lateral impact. The main parameters include the impact energy, mass and impact velocity of the impact hammer. The results indicate that the finite element analysis model built in this paper could accurately simulate the process of hot-rolled H-shaped steel beam under lateral impact load and the impact energy, mass and impact velocity have different influences on the dynamic response of H-shaped steel beam.

Abstract: A virtual prototyping model for dynamical characteristic curves based on contact force was established, through the joint modeling(geometric modeling and constraint modeling) of planetary bevel gear CVT system in UG and ADAMS. The virtual prototyping experimental data proved that the system has the feasibility of over-zero variable speed. It is also verified that the model has advantage on continuously variable speed range ,compared with planetary cone ring continuously variable transmission system. The main effect factors of the continuously variable speed performance and output torque are obtained. This model could be used to further study on such issues.

Abstract: Many components in modern mechanical structure are connected with bolts, and the behaviour of joints significantly affects the dynamic response of these structures. Based on the software of MSC. patran, firstly, a linear dynamic model for bolted joints and interface is developed. The joint interface is modeled using a technology of interface layer element(ILE) and multi-point constrains(MPC) technique. And then, using the MATLAB language, the properties of ILE material are optimized to simulate the bolted-joint interface stiffness. The material properties parameters are identified by using experimental data. This work takes aero-engine case model as an example, researching its model analysis under different pre-stress conditions to check the method and provide insight on how to model the joint interface in the dynamics calculation of bolted structure.

Abstract: At present, although the Planet Gears for Ravigneaux Automatic Gearbox is widely used, most studies focus on the automatic transmission shift rule, few for automatic transmission in the process of installation error to analyze their dynamic performance. This paper is mainly based on the blank area of the current research, focusing on analysis gear installation error to the influence of dynamic performance. This paper build 3D model by Solidworks, and use mechanical system dynamics analysis software (ADAMS) for establishing the virtual prototype of the Planet Gears for Ravigneaux Automatic Gearbox and run the dynamic simulation. Gain the speed, the gearing mesh force at various levels and the meshing frequency.
