Abstract: Considering the coupling effect between clamping force control and speed ratio control, this paper takes the axial displacement of primary pulley as the feedback of speed ratio control which can overcome the impact of external load and disturbance of outside environment. By choosing typical working conditions, simulation was carried out and the results showed that this control method had strong capacity of robust and decoupling, good dynamic response and stability.

Abstract: According to the processing principle of the spiral bevel gear, analyzed the relative motion of cutter and workpiece in process. Combing the feature of logarithmic spiral bevel gear, this paper took the advantage of the gyration vector expansion to derivate the tooth surface equation of logarithmic spiral bevel gear shaping gear and deduced the meshing equation.

Abstract: On the basis of flexible multi-body system dynamics theory, we built flexible multi-body system dynamics models which include a backlash, and to a slider-crank mechanism as the research object, we made a preliminary study on the effect on the flexible components and the backlash of the kinematic pair on mechanical system dynamics characteristics. To consider the backlash of the kinematic pair and component of flexible space can show a preliminary research on the dynamic simulation, and focus on the backlash, friction and gravity field to influence in the dynamic characteristics of the system. The simulation results show that, due to the existence of backlash made the two components frequent collision in the process of the stretching, clearance, flexible and friction are closed, make the system nonlinear characteristics increased.

Abstract: Considering the transition effect of static friction to dynamic friction, a two degree-of- freedoms vibration model of a new type of horizontal vibrated conveyor with inclination which can be used for continuous charging of electric arc furnace is formulated using d'Alembert principle. Based on the proposed vibration model, a program is wrote and the transmit mechanism is investigated. Computational results reveal numerous interesting conveying characteristics which can be used to forecast and control the vibration of the scrap and the conveyor.

Abstract: To tackle the knowledge representation problem in developing intelligent conceptual design system, a BP network based approach is proposed, in which the related knowledge regarded various mechanical transmissions can be acquired and represented with the trained weight and threshold of neural network if they are turned into numerical data, encoded with binary strings, employed as learning samples, and fed into the constructed BP neural network. In a sense, the trained neural network can be used as a knowledge base of expert system to facilitate the choosing process of mechanical transmission. This paper provides a promising approach to deal with the automation of knowledge representation in conceptual design of mechanical transmission.

Abstract: The connection performance of the large taper, multi-thread, variable pitch of screw threaded casing is researched by 3D finite element simulation on ANSYS Workbench. The 3D finite element model is created precisely. The stress distribution on the teeth of three kind variable pitch of screw threaded structure is studied by using the static structure of the contact analysis module. Contrasting stress distribution of the variable pitch of screw with of the equal pitch of screw under the same working condition, it is validated that design principle for the variable pitch of screw connection is correct. The influence of changes in the amount of variable pitch of screw to the whole stress distribution on teeth is discussed. The results show that the force distribution on the teeth of the variable pitch of screw connection is more uniform than equal pitch of screw, and will improve the overall carrying capacity. This study has its practical value to improve the connective performance of the threaded casing and enhance the product quality of threaded casing.

Abstract: Based on induction heating theory, a finite elementmodel for electromagnetic-temperature field has been developed. The simulation of induction heating process in large size crankshaft shrink fitting is carried out by using FEA software ANSYS. With temperature and deformation distribution being calculated, the characteristics and effect factors in the induction heating process are also analyzed. In conclusion, the optimized crankshaft heating techonology could be estabished by adjusting technological parameters of the heating device. Specifically, frequency, current, heating position, etc.

Abstract: In this paper, the writer analyzed a three-ply reinforced concrete frame structure with specially shaped columns through compiling a program by finite elements program of ANSYS. The results of simulated approached to experimental dates by comparison them. Which mean that use ANSYS program simulated ductility performance of reinforced concrete frame structure with specially shaped columns under reversed cyclic load is feasible. The simulation reflected the ductility of reinforced concrete frame structure, in which from load-on till destruction is perfectly.
