Abstract: This paper introduces a novel approach to develop a 2D layout system based on the convex hull plus rubber band analogy. The data processing of convex hull and the rubber band analogy modeling methods are elaborated practically; The rubber band simulating model is built quickly by using the ray scanning method; Collision detection by area algorithm based on Boolean logic is processed; The practical cases of developing 2D layout system are demonstrated to illustrate that the proposed approaches are effective.

Abstract: The different lifting mechanisms of compressed garbage transport trunks are analyzed and compared, and the impact of characters and parameters on the functions of the machines is also analyzed. Finally, a kind of lifting mechanism on the basis of the principle of double docking bars is put forward. Creating 3D models of lifting mechanism based on the Pro/E, and using ADAMS to simulating analysis about motion process of mechanism, then the dynamic curve about acceleration of waste bin, press of hydraulic cylinder and other parameters can be gotten, which is valided of optimality of the mechanism and provided reference for a more comprehensive analysis and optimization of similar institutions later.

Abstract: In order to research on the elevation amplification effect of blasting vibrational velocity of bench Blasting, Using FEM program of LS-DYNA, based on the simplified blasthole theory, established the single blasthole 140mm finite element model , draw elevation amplification is not unlimited magnified, but first increasing with elevation to certain extreme value , and then reducing along with the elevation .

Abstract: Triangular mesh is a digital representation mode widely used in CAD and CAM. And the connection of the offset vertexes is an important step in the edge isometry based polygon offset operation in path planning of layer milling complicated surfaces represented by triangular mesh. A vertex classification based connectiong method was presented. It avoids the vertex reflection, shortens the length of the contour and improves the performance of edge isometry based offset algorithm.

Abstract: Design of turning area for sea port is generally done according to the outcome of theoretical calculation or real-ship trial. However, these methods only take into account some limited respects for planning a port or are not so cost-effective. In this paper, computer simulator is used for optimizing the size of turning area for Yangshan LNG terminal. The outcome indicates that the major axis and minor axis of the turning area can meet the requirement of Q-Max LNG carrier berthing operation and it is suggested to do such maneuvering in some given conditions related to wind, current, tide, visibility and wave.

Abstract: The layout of closed-couple catalyst converter in internal combustion engine exhaust system is one of important way to reduce vehicle emission. CFD method based on finite volume method is adopted to numerical simulate flow distribution in the entrance of closed-coupled catalytic converter and applying business software of FLUENT to clarity the flow uniformity of inlet to ensure catalytic converter work efficiently and meet regulations. The flow field uniformity of entrance were studied and analyzed. Research finds that the shape of manifold has effect on dispersion of velocity in entrance and dispersion of velocity has a relatively strong correlation with pulsation flow. The flow reverse in junction deflect the air flow that flow into the entrance of closed-couple catalyst converter. Calculation results indicate that the uneven rate coefficient is 0.266 and volatility is 0.515 in the entrance of closed-couple catalyst.

Abstract: Hydrodynamic seal ring is based on the hydrodynamic effect of rotary shaft seal, Kalsi sealing ring is the typical type of products, and the design of sealing lip adopts unique waveform structure. Based on geometry analysis of the sealing ring, the 3D model of the ring was established by using SolidWorks software, and then the model was introduced into finite element software ANSYS, which was used to analyse stress for the Kalsi of rubber sealing ring. Through the analysis of the stress of rubber ring, the position of the maximum stress value of the rubber seal in hydrodynamic pressure was wave crest (valley) in the edge of the wave side. When the pressure of seal was 10MPa, the maximum value of stress of rubber sealing was up to 6.54MPa.

Abstract: The shafting torsional vibration mode of generator sets reflects dynamic process of the power grid. This paper proposes a novel real-time algorithm for shafting torsional vibration mode decomposition of generator sets, which has excellent time-frequency resolution. The algorithm realizes the signal frequency resolution filtering based on classic infinite impulse response (IIR) filtering. At the same time, the inertia of the narrow-band filtering algorithm is eliminated through multi-period rotation IIR filtering and the time-frequency dynamic resolution of the modal decomposition is realized. PSCAD-based simulation verifies that the algorithm has the frequency anti-aliasing performance, and can fully reserve the time-frequency variation characteristics and can realize the multi-mode real-time decomposition of the torsional vibration perfectly. The algorithm can also be used for the time-frequency analysis in other fields.

Abstract: The dynamic index and economic index of battery electric vehicles are mutual related as well as opposite. So they should be evaluated synthetically. From the analysis of literatures, the maximum speed, accelerating ability and driving range are chosen as the synthetic evaluation index. By the method of principal component analysis, the synthetic evaluation model of the dynamic and economic performance of battery electric vehicle is established. And example is used to explain the application of the model.

Abstract: This research proposed an automatic verification device and realized automatic verification of vehicle sideslip tester. In this research, AVD(Automatic Verification Device) constitutes down termination PLC and touch screen MCGS, ensuring the automatic verification accurate and efficient. The AVD not only realized the application of electronic technology and sensor technology during the certification process, but also avoided the uncertainty caused by the artificial reading and data sampling difference. Furthermore, the system can generate the original records and certificates reports automatically, which improve the efficiency of measurement greatly and reduce the verification workload. The system has extensive practical value in the verification of vehicle sideslip tester, it can be extended to other items in vehicle inspection field.
