Abstract: According to the spirit of relative documents issued by Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development and by Ministry of Education, and combined with the intermittent use features of public constructions in colleges and universities, Energy saving supervision system of colleges and universities is established by using automation control technology and content networking technology. By means of installing wireless temperature sensors, time & temperature sharing controllers and electric control valves, scientific management mode of remote temperature monitoring, time & temperature sharing controlling, and on-demand heating is achieved.

Abstract: Large amounts of heat were waste during showering process, especially in public buildings. In this paper, a waste water heat recovery system containing a clever concept device was designed and set up to investigate the potential for shower water heat recovery. The device can be installed directly on the floor of the shower room and can be used to preheat the cold water going to the water heater. The principle of the device was introduced, and the energy saving effects of the device was studied experimentally with different conditions. The results indicated that more than 50% of the shower waste water heat can be recycled by the high-performance heat recovery device, which indicated that this device has good economic property and could lead to obvious social and economic benefits.

Abstract: The design of public building entrance in cold regions has its particularity. On one hand, this specificity comes from the entrance itself which constitutes complex mechanism, on the other hand, it is derived from the cold regions environment constraints on the range. This article proceeds with the space layout, structure design and material selection by analyses the traditional building technique which used in cold region public buildings, takes cold region traditional representative architecture the Harbin Institute of Technology Museum as example, explains the design countermeasures of the cold area public building entrance in cold adaption construction such as location determination, height difference coordination and other aspects that matters. Proposes the suitable low technology strategy for buildings that can be used in cold area, discusses the overall construction strategy for the future energy saving building in cold region.

Abstract: Based on the analysis of building energy efficiency features, considering the construction of energy efficiency factors, this paper AHP establish a comprehensive evaluation of building energy efficiency design model based on grey theory. According to the characteristics of the system and basic principles, after comparative analysis of levels of elements, it will introduce 1-9 ratio scale method to construct a matrix. The matrix determines the largest eigenvalue and eigenvector to get the relative weight of various factors. And use grey correlation as a measure to determine the important factors or the optimal solution. This model mainly combines quantitative analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to overcome the evaluation‘s the subjectivity and arbitrariness, and achieves a scientific and reasonable evaluation of comprehensive energy efficiency design of the building. Finally, this paper designs and develops building energy efficiency evaluation software.

Abstract: Style has long been an important index to observe the design thinking of designers in architecture. The emergence of architectural style includes together from known state of the building to the whole design process. Gene Expression Programming (GEP) is an evolutionary algorithm that automatically creates computer programs. This paper mainly discuss a framework for evaluating architectural style based on GEP and the architectural style based on GEP is studied. Through the analysis of the basic characteristics of architecture style, the framework for evaluating architectural style is extracted. The rules of architectural styles are discussed. The algorithm of Gene Expression Programming model is proposed. Finally, an evaluating architectural style framework based on GEP is developed. The framework helps the follow-up researcher to break through the restriction of style grammar and enable having the ability to analyse the formations of style of contemporary architects.

Abstract: The technological expression of contemporary architecture is developed basing on modernistic architecture. As one of the most influential architectural design methods, it is being paid more and more attention to by contemporary architects. Technological expression has made lots of changes in the design of architectural forms, space and environment. With the rapid development of science, more and more fantastic technology is being applied, which makes it beyond just a method and forms an architectural design theory itself. This paper makes some analysis on the relationship between technological expression and regional culture, ecological concept and natural environment. Since digital information technology is penetrating into architectural designing field, I hope this paper can give some inspiration to architects on their architectural study and practice.

Abstract: Recent years have seen the improvement of economic conditions and living standards of Chinese rural residents. But the problems of waste and pollution have occurred in rural housing construction for heating, lighting and ventilation, damage of ecology, etc. As a result, it is necessary to push energy efficiency in rural housing construction in China. In this paper, the problems existing in rural housing construction are first described, and then the strategies and measures to improve the energy conservation in rural residential buildings are put forward. The solutions to the energy conservation in rural residential buildings in China are those government should play the strengthen leadership role, developing the market of building energy conservation and developing technical foundation s and technological innovations.

Abstract: Architectural surface has changed very much compared with the traditional one in the past, because there are many opportunities for architects to experiment with space and form to express themselves today. What are the characteristics of traditional and modern architectural surface, why the characteristics keep changing all the time and how they are changing are all the main problems to study. In this research, based on analysis of some particular architecture, these questions get some answers to themselves. Through analyzing the relationships of these different characteristics, it is not so difficult to explain the essence of the changing about architectural surface and also make the essence understood deeply. As a result, what is the most valuable in the modern architectural surface gets clearer in the end and it is beneficial for selecting fine directions in the development of architectural surface.
