Abstract: This paper present the determination method of eye point in SAE, obtain the rearview mirror’s design formulas based on that. This paper get the relationship between the related attributes of rearview mirror and the Angle of installation through the study of Rearview mirror vision and related laws and regulations, determine the location of the rearview mirror to Meet requirements of regulatory and Ergonomics.

Abstract: In this paper, the relation between angle of rotation function of the five-bar and similar four-bar mechanisms’ rigid-body and Coupler Rotation-Angle function is discussed. The principles of reduce the numerical atlas are proposed. A numerical atlas database comprising 240498 basic dimensional types is set up. Make the five-bar and similar four-bar mechanism for Rigid-Body Guidance with prescribed timing possible. Finally, an example is given to prove it.

Abstract: In this paper a description is given about the implementation of the Dynamic positioning system in the Seabex (special model ship) software of ship. The effectiveness of DPS is confirmed by numerical simulation and tank test using a model ship. This research is an effective approach to design an offshore platform DPS at one-tenth of cost of conventional method.

Abstract: To improve the model quality of mesh simplification, reduce the model deformation and the lost of the detail characteristics with multiple folding, the paper represents a triangular mesh simplification algorithm based on edge-surface folding. The algorithm introduces curvature characteristics of model vertexes into the weight calculation of effective points, and introduces weight of triangular facets at the same time. The facets with the smallest weight adjacent the candidate edge is shrunk. The experiment results show that the algorithm has provided a higher quality of model simplification and effectively kept the graphic features.

Abstract: This paper takes the construction of Gan Hai-zi concrete-filled steel tube pre-stressed continuous truss Beam Bridge as the engineering background. Combined with the actual construction process of the bridge, taken the main structure of the bridge as the typical prestressed composite structure and used the finite element joint section to simulation the whole construction process of the 35th and 36th experimental cross composite structure of the bridge. Theoretical analysis combined with the field test, and the calculation results are in good agreement with the experimental results, which shows that the construction mechanical performance of the new bridge structure is good.

Abstract: Recently needs of extra-large floor type boring machines have been increased according to super-sizing ships and aircrafts including wind turbines. The rotary table of a supersize floor type boring machine to be developed in this study can support ultra heavyweight workpieces more than 200 tons and be rotated with a speed of 300 deg/min. Therefore, it is designed as a high rigidity structure and requires high rigidity bearings. Thus, hydrostatic bearings are used in this rotary table. For optimizing the rotary table of a floor type boring machine as a lightweight and high rigidity structure, an optimized design is performed using an FEM structural analysis and a genetic algorithm (GA). As a result, it represents a decrease in weight 22.2% and an increases in rigidity 8.56% compared to that of the conventional method based on empirical design.

Abstract: In order to solve the planning problem of maintainability growth project, study of the model and algorithm in linear programming of maintainability growth project is put forward. Firstly, the linear relationship of factor and target as an example, the mathematical model of maintainability growth project planning is put forward in the article, and a general solution method is mentioned. Then according to the maintainability growth problem’s characteristic, the algorithm is improved. A solution method is brought out which is about simplex method with variable changed form 0 to 1- γi. This Algorithm makes the solution of maintainability growth project planning become much simpler than before.

Abstract: Optical dot gain is the key point of halftone reconstruction study, and has always been a meaningful topic of theoretical study. The Yule–Nielsen formula is by far the most widely used research method of optical dot gain. However, solving the Yule–Nielsen parameter n remains a difficult problem. This paper disregards solving for the Yule–Nielsen parameter n, analyzes the light scattering and osmotic effect of halftone presswork, deduces the exact expressions of blank area of presswork, and determines the reflectivity of the dot part and halftone presswork according to the point spread function and probability method. Furthermore, this paper analyzes how the optical dot gain depends on the dot area coverage of presswork, ink layer transmittivity, and paper-based spectral reflectivity. In addition, a new algorithm model for optical dot gain is established. By employing the Clapper–Yule Model to calculate the spectral transmittance of printing ink and comparing it with the practical measured spectral reflectivity of the halftone presswork proof, the accuracy of the model established in this paper is fully verified.

Abstract: With the increasing integration of electronic products, the heat flux density is increasing. Research on the heat dissipation of the PCB attracts more attention. Temperature field of the electronic products always changes a lot, usually leading to a transient stress field in the PCB. Due to the transient temperature field and transient stress field, the PCB’s modal changed. In this paper, the temperature field and the stress field are obtained to explain the reason of the change. The influence on PCB’s modal caused by the temperature field and the stress field are analyzed, on the basis of PCB’s thermal modal analysis, which provide a reference for the PCB design and modal analysis in the future.

Abstract: The design knowledge classification is the basis of knowledge search. The extended six-dimension design knowledge classification system mainly includes the extended discipline, product, application process dimension and resource unit, expression pattern, design domain dimension. In a distributed knowledge resources environment, the product design activities usually are participated by three roles, design entity, resource units and design knowledge resource register center. Based on this classification system, this paper analyzes in detail how it is used by these three roles to support the design knowledge search and puts forward to the resource unit and design resource register center knowledge classification model.
